This is brilliant. If you put water on full it does not work great meaning if you have low water pressure it should still work.Hrs of fun with youngest and a toy for me to watering my grass!!

Its a nice short term distraction
Wothfav Water Rocket, Rocket Sprinkler Toy for Kids, Summer Water Spray Toys for Kids:A straightforward set up that young kids and some pets will enjoy.I don’t think it works well on a day with some breeze or if someone interferes with the stream but otherwise its fine.Some of the photos suggest that some water will spray outwards at an angle from the base, that is not the case.If you don’t have strong water pressure at home, probably invest in a little pipe reducer to artificially increase the pressure. If everything connects, it will be a better experience.

As others have said you need some phenomenal amount of water pressure otherwise it just sits on the ground. Donât waste your money.

Works brilliantly! Great way to cool off on a hot day
This water octopus is surprisingly brilliant! Out of the packet, some assembly is required (adding the feet) which will take all of 30 seconds. Then connect to a hose (a hoze-loc type tap fitting is included to connect to your hose connector (which is not supplied). Give a countdown, turn on the tap and LIFT OFF!! To the joy and amazement of my 2 and 5 year old kids, the octopus’ hat steadily rose to well over 10 feet / 3metres sprinkling everyone within 3metres with the water spray.They loved it! This works best on days where it isn’t windy (as a small bit of wind will knock the “hat” off and stop the sprinkle effect.Good fun way to cool off on hot summer days!

For its price this is a great little garden summer toy for the children which also doubles up at helping to keep your dog nice n cool (they cant resit either) Super simple and easy to set up, you would need a standard water hose pressure otherwise it will not work (not tried it with the pressure washer though) kids love playing with this, ill admit to and on more then one occasion kinking the hose pipe so that had to investigate why it suddenly stopped working. Fun for adults too.Its a simple toy, works simply by balancing on the water spraying out which hits an open dome in the roof of the toy creating both lift and outward spray. more splash really. However it will never replace the good old fashioned garden sprinkler when it comes to coverage but for the price its brilliant.

My kids love this when it’s up in the garden, you plug in the hose and the ball shoots up for you to hit with a bat. It’s really good, fun and works well. We find it just the right size to fit in the garden

Doesnât work
Left it too long to try it out as wanted a surprise for the kids when it was hot. It doesnât work. Iâm guessing you must need pretty high water pressure, it didnât even lift off the ground.

Our granddaughter and neighbor kids love this. Great on a hot day.Yes, if you have little or no water pressure it won’t lift. Also don’t work great on a windy day. Am going to get two more to send to other grandkids.
