My New Favourit Toy 🙂
How have I lived without this fantastic tool for so long!Out of the box and charged to full in around 2-3 hours, then I thought I would have a little test, and ended up staying outside, creating piles of hedge and shrub cuttings all around the garden. I was a bit worried as it didn’t “sound” that strong, but oh-boy does it cut Woohooo! I have a full 14ft hedge that I have to have professionally cut, and this tool was taking the sides and edges down with no effort at all. It was so easy to hold up high and the only thing that stopped me going was my diminutive height heheIt made short work of tidying up a low level shrubby bush that grows up under my study window and is always a pain to keep trimmed with the hated garden shears.I am a lady with small hands and arthritis in my wrists and this was lightweight and comfortable to hold in either hand. You press the safety button once and hold down the trigger to start it (like a lawnmower), and it only shuts off when you release the trigger. The blades are extremely easy to change.Overall: I am utterly delighted with this tool and compared to other well known brands I was looking at, you get a lot of kit for your money and a battery that can be used with all their other tools. I now have my eye on their cordless strimmer 🙂 I highly Recommend this tool for anyone that hates shears and finds regular hedge trimmers too heavy.

Brilliant!!
Bought for my 86year old Dad who refuses to have help with his garden chores, this is light weight which is great for him as using clippers was making his arms ache, easy to use and the battery life was brilliant… Non stop use for over hour and still 3bars on it!! The choice of blades are good and cover a manner of chores which Dad needed.. Great product!

I’ve got a few Worx battery operated tools which are great so thought I’d give this a try. I can say this great for doing edges of a reasonably sized garden and the battery lasts more than enough. It’s actually very powerful as well. The hedge trimmer bit is ok but only good for the thinner bits as you might expect. All in all a good tool and very handy. The only fiddle bit is changing the cutters and it would have been good if it came with a case or something to keep it all together.

QUALITY GARDEN TOOL.
So pleased with the quality & ease of using this grass/hedge shear. My second day of using my new Worx WG801E 20V, it made trimming the edge of our lawn a pleasure. The larger of the two hedge shears, made light work of trimming a small shrub in our border. The battery life is amazing, the tool very well balanced when in the hand, shear change is quick & easy & it looks nice. The battery power remaining indicator is a nice feature. Press a button & it will show 1,2 or 3 lights to show remaining power. With two lights still showing after trimming around our 30ft square lawn, i put it on charge while having a cuppa. 10 minutes later it was showing a full charge, ready to tackle our front lawn. Time will tell just how reliable this proves to be, first impressions, a lovely bit of gardening kit.

A joy to use
This toy is so easy to use and so effective. I have done some serious trimming of bushes that were massively overgrown. It took no time at all. Easy to change the parts in and out.Surprisingly it does cut some of the thicker branches but if the branch is too thick then it will stop but then starts up again without any issue. If a piece of thick branch gets lodged it is easy to remove.The safety feature is great. I feel confident that I won’t accidentally turn it on by having my hand near the trigger. You have to quite deliebrately release the safety

Light, powerful, sharp with great results.
I have about a dozen shrubs in my modest garden so this tool is ideal for my needs. Very light and easy to use. The blades can be changed very easily and are very sharp. The battery life is good too, I don’t know how long it will run between charges because it has not run out when I have been using it (usually 30 mins use). I am very pleased I got this tool.

Brilliant
Very impressed with this. I have had it for nearly 2 months and have used both the grass and hedge trimming attachments. Despite frequent use over that time the battery still registers more than half full.The hedge trimmer is suitable for light trimming of new growth and can be used one handed with ease. It is great for those new shoots that grow longer than others. I have been using it on a holly hedge with no problems at all.The blade covers are of excellent quality and most of the device exudes similar high quality. I am a little concerned about the plastic base that needs to be removed to change the cutting devices, it is perhaps too flimsy, but time will tell.
