Warning: May Cause Screeches of Delight
 What a gem this butterfly sprinkler is! My children, aged 7 & 10, (along with the neighbours’ children [7 & 11], whose heads popped immediately over the hedge to investigate and promptly went and got changed to join in the fun) have had an absolute blast with it to cool off.It was very straightforward to set up. I did need to use the (included) adapter to get it to fit my hose. It’s so simple, but absolutely oodles of fun. There’s one attachment for it that spins in traditional sprinkler fashion (dubbed ‘tornado mode’ by the kids, don’t ask me why), and another that just flails its ‘arms’ around and flings water all over the place in an unpredictable pattern – including over both sets of neighbours’ hedges if hose was on full blast (this was ‘crazy mode’ obviously). Crazy mode might have been the children’s favourite but I found it a bit much. Tornado mode (see video), also has the side benefit of being useful as a bog-standard-but-far-cuter sprinkler, meaning I don’t have to water the grass! Winner!

Good fun when it works
 Not much to say about this bar the fact it’s good fun when it works with the sprinkler head and the dog loves it. Had to film without him as I didn’t want muck walking through the whole house and to dry him.The second nozzle tube head is very intermittent, sometimes it works and other times it sits flat?If you see my video, it demonstrates this flopping.For that reason I’ve given it a four. Can’t be the water pressure as that never changed, so I’m unsure as to why this keep happening.

A little let down
A little let down with this , first it leaked with the attachments given and realised the washer that was provided was causing the problem. It was removed which improved the water pressure however . It could of been our water pressure but it failed to spin around fast. We would find the pipes / arms would kink and would then need to manually unkink them. It looks nice with the colour but the quality is a little of a let down.

Can get messy!
 My son is two and got really excited by the colourful tubes on this sprinkler toy – so naturally we had to hook it up to the hose right away. We used the small armed attachment – instead of the long floppy tubes, and they span really well as soon as water was turned on, and made really cute patterns with the water and it span – my son was hypnotised and totally mesmerised that he ended up getting soak.Inside the box it comes with a couple of adapters for different hose fittings, and it fit on my hose perfectly. It is quite light plastic so I can imagine it snapping easily if someone tripped over it – but so far ours i s still in one piece! It’s a great way of keeping my son cool in this heat!

Summer fun
This was really enjoyable in the summer, and was really easy to set up.Fit our hose with no issues, and as we have good water pressure it gave out some really good sprays! I think it would still work OK with lower pressure, just not come out quite so high.Would recommend.

Adds a little colour to an everyday item
The great thing about this sprinkler is that it is actually a decent build.The sprinkler arrives with the butterfly base, the attachment piece and two separate sprinklers. The usual spinning type and another that is a series of tubes. Both are great for watering the garden, I actually prefer the one with the pipes.The really fun thing is while putting water onto the garden my children are having fun watching the sprinkler tubes doing their thing, it is quite colourful and is great for keeping their attention.The quality is decent, the whole thing feels like it should last a little while, the sprinkler has a good feel to it, and each arm can be adjusted.The one down side is the sprinkler tubes on the end ( purple) all came off and will not stay on, it is a bit of a let down, but overall not a major for me.

Easy to assemble. At first, we used one of those collapsible scrunch-type hoses, and the wiggly arms did not want to work. Then we switched to a regular hose, and the wiggly arms worked perfectly. Watch the water pressure! Good product for the price!
