Ideal for Cadac Chef 2 BBQ
Looked around for a windshield for a Cadac Chef 2 BBQ. Initially I found aluminium shields which were too small. I thought of buying several and making my own from the bits.However I found this, it’s the right length to wrap around the Cadac Chef,. The right height, just above the casserole handles if the casserole cover is used as a lid.The downside is that being sheet steel, it is heavy than you might expect. That said I am sure it will be still acting as a shield, long past the time the aluminium shield would have blown away.FWIWorth :The bottom of the shield is castellated which is useful as the gas hose is fractionly smaller in diameter, so the shield does not rock on the hose.I used a couple of bar magnets to hold the ends of the shield together. Just pull a part, adjust the gas, or cooking, and close up again.Happy Cooking

when it arrived the first thing i noticed is the weight, this is a heavy product and i was pleasantly surprised by this.The wind is extremely unlikely to blow this about, there is also a good (adjustable) length so will be able to surround the portable cooker/fire and being galvanised will last a long long while.Comes in a small carry bag to keep it all tidy.For the price i highly recommend
