Good value and robust design
After much research we decided to go for this wheel clamp based on reviews of its robust and sturdy design and that it should fit the wheels.on our motorhome based on a peugeot boxer hdi 160 cab.We have not been disappointed.Firstly delivery was quick.Secondly the instructions in the box were very clear.Thirdly it fitFourth it feels very sturdyThe one slight negative is that it was difficult to fit – it needed a bit of persuasion the first time but at 16inch wheels we are at the high end of the use ( 225/75R16). However I have removed and refit it on three occasions and with practice it does become easier. If it was too easy to fit I would have less confidence on it being a deterrent.Overall we are pleased with this clamp – it acts as a good deterrent and is highly visible.

Sturdy and highly rated product.
This wheel lock will not be easy to force off, the metal bands are thick and wide and made of hardened Steel. There is no way you could cut the clamp off and you would find it difficult to drill the lock out. With cheaper wheel clamps, if you don’t mind possibly damaging the vehicle you are trying to steal, you could just literally drive off and the cheap wheel clamp would literally fall off. Search on You tube for ways to defeat a wheel clamps… This wheel lock is more sturdy and I think your axel would break before this thing falls off! It is one of the more pricier wheel clamps, but considering the cost of losing your vehicle, I think that this is a small price to pay. Obvioulsy no security is thief proof and they will steal your vehicle if determined enough, but this lock would make it that much harder to do!

Easy fit
Fits my ‘at the large end of the reccomended’ size tyre. Easy to put on and off but can hold a bit of water after rain. It’s not long before that retention can get a bit rusty

Does the job.
Needed this for my motorhome. The legs don’t reach the floor on a 16 inch wheel but it seems strong, heavy and secure. A good deterant. Looks the part.

Smart wheel clamp which is easy to fit and practical to store.
Impresssed by the compact box it came in. I bought this wheel clamp for my Renault Trafic campervan with 17″ alloy wheels to secure the vehicle while it’s parked on my drive. Unlike another clamp i tried which was heavy and cumbersome, this is relatively lightweight to fit and remove but looks strong and a good deterrent. Item was delivered very quickly.

Extra security for my car
I decided to buy a wheel clamp after a couple of attempted break-ins to get to the keys of my Golf GTI. But most of the reviews of clamps related to vans, motor homes and caravans.For those considering this product SH5456 for their car I can say it fits my Golf with 225/40 R18 wheels.

Sehr stabil und gut verarbeitet, alles scheint sehr wertig zu sein. SchlieÃmechanismus ist klasse!! Verwende es für meinen neuen Stema Anhänger, da es viel auf offener StraÃe abgestellt wird.

Die Kralle passt sehr gut an den 225/75 R16 Reifen und ist leicht zu montieren.Guter Schutz der Felge gegen Kratzer durch Gummiplatte auf der Rückseite.Schloss mit 3 Schlüsseln. Eine Ersatzrändelschraube wird mitgeliefert.Schön wäre eine Anleitung auf deutsch!

Das Wichtigste zuerst: sie passt!Wie die Bilder zeigen, ist die Radkappe bei meinem WoMo sehr flach und deshalb passt die Radkralle sogar über einen 235er-Reifen. Laut Verpackung sind nur 230-er Reifen mit abgedeckt, aber selbst das war ja schon einmal eine Information, die ich vorher nicht hatte (ich ging davon aus, dass bei 225ern Schluss sein würde und hatte dieses Produkt hoffnungsfroh trotzdem gekauft).Sonst schreibe ich keine Rezensionen, aber wenn ein Produkt mich überzeugt, dann doch:- die Kralle kommt top verpackt zum Kunden- Gewicht insg. knapp 10 Kilogramm- solide designte Einzelteile, die perfekt zusammenpassen (kaum Spiel, keine Wackeleien o.ä.)- schwere Metallausführung (sowohl die Arme, die gelb lackierten zentralen Bauteile, das Schloss und die 3(!) Schlüssel)- gute Lackierung- auffällig und abschreckend- wirklich einfacher Zusammenbau- gute Anleitung, die zwar auf Englisch ist, aber dafür gut aufgemacht und sehr gut nachvollziehbar- sogar eine Ersatzschraube, für den Fall, dass die Halteschraube, mit der der obere Arm fixiert wird, verloren gehen sollte. Vorbildlich!Besonders gut gefällt mir (neben der Passung bei meinen dicken Schluppen), dass die Metallteile wirklich solide verarbeitet sind. Keine Grate, keine Fehler in der Lackierung und vor allem schöne SchweiÃnähe, keine einfache und zeitsparende PunktverschweiÃung, sondern durchgängige Nähte). Der letzte Punkt war mir rund um das Schloss wichtig, das zudem nur wenig aus dem Korpus hervorsteht und daher auch nicht dazu einlädt, dass man einfach mal feste mit dem Fäustel oder Hammer draufhaut.Ich weià nicht, ob Profis und engagierte Diebe ernsthaft abgeschreckt werden und ein Diebstahl hiermit verhindert werden kann. Trotzdem bin ich zumindest davon überzeugt, dass ich den Kaufpreis gut angelegt habe und keinen Mist gekauft habe. Alles andere wird sich zeigen, oder auch nicht.Das ist ein gutes Stück Metall. Ich bin zufrieden. Für meine RadgröÃen hätte ich in dieser Preisklasse wohl nichts anderes finden können, das gleichermaÃen kompakt und handlich und zugleich auch stabil und gut designed ist.Gute Arbeit soll unterstützt werden und genau deshalb hab ich diese Rezension geschrieben.Nachtrag 16.5.2022:Heute bin ich unachtsam gewesen und bin mit angelegter Radkralle angefahren (vorsichtig natürlich). Ich habe es sofort gemerkt: anhalten, 5 cm zurückrollen, Kralle abnehmen. Dann die Ãberraschung (und Enttäuschung): die Metalldorne, die die beiden verstellbaren Arme fixieren, sind teilweise ausgerissen. Sie sind offensichtlich nicht mit dem Korpus verschweiÃt, sondern lediglich eingepresst. Mir ist dabei auch aufgefallen, dass das hintere Teil des Korpus aus recht dünnem Blech besteht (so schätzungsweise 4mm. Eine Sollbruchstelle also).Naja, das war dann wohl Lehrgeld. Und es ist sicherlich besser, das Material der Radkralle gibt nach als dass ich mir das Wohnmobil kaputtfahre.
