BRILLIANT!!! PERFECT FOR SUMMER
This air con is amazing. My room is 18m2 and it will cool the room in around 10mins. British summer is humid, so the dehumidify function with fan will still cool the room even if the cooling function is off. I use this selection of functions the most because it’s quieter, but also because once the humidity is down, the temperature is comfortable – 20 degrees at high humidity is horrible but 20 degrees at regular humity is fine. On an extreme hot day like 30 degrees, this will cool a room right down to 16 degrees very chilly in an hour. It’s also safe and fine to use at night. The cool function is a bit loud. I haven’t tried the sleep function since you can only turn it on with the remote.The unit weighs 20kg. it isn’t lighter than the 9000btu version and isn’t 18.5kg as advertised. This is OK, I’m female and can just about haul it upstairs.Easy to set up and install. Grab the concertina tube, screw the two ends Anticlockwise to add, then slot into the back of the unit. Comes with a window kit for sliding window, or, in my pics you can see a window kit for hinged windows. It comes with a velcro strip and you stick that around the window and stick the window fabric thing to it.Cons: Even though the item is awesome I incurred the extra costs. the mains plug cable is very short maybe a metre. so I had to buy an extension. the ducting tube is also very short and you can see my window is high up so I also bought another tube (15cm dia). It’s a bit loud on full blast but I’d rather that than humid and hot. The dehumidify function releases lots of water, but the internal tank is very small. you can either drain the unit from the bottom or you can do as I did and put a bucket with the enclosed piping. However the bucket fills quickly and you won’t get a warning. the warning only works for the internal tank. so if your bucket overflows in the middle of the night everything will get soaked.Perfect for a small home office set up.Ignore the foil tape on my pics. the duct was heavy and I had to find a way to secure it to go up to my high window.people saying it doesn’t work probably aren’t venting it properly. you have to use the single hose to let the hot air out your window otherwise it wkl just blow around the room.Great little gadgetDehumidify will also be useful in cold damp English winters too.Looks good, plain and simple.Comes with remote control but I didn’t use it yet

Better than expected
After much searching(for the cheapest ac unit that didn’t have terrible reviews) I settled for this.It actually has a nice finish to it and looks much better than it cost.Performance wise I put it in our boarded out loft(vented out of velux window) which gets insanely hot(3 bed semi), pointed the vent towards the hatch and turned it on the highest fan and lowest temperature setting.It takes a minute or so to spin up but when it does the air is beautifully chilled. Within half an hour the loft was icey cool. I would say it’s output is similar to the two main vents in my Mazda 6 on full blast. We left one bedroom door closed and the other 2 open, the closed room was significantly warmer meaning this thing had actually cooled 3 rooms and the landing. It also cooled the downstairs hallway and the lounge although the effect wasn’t as good.The noise was much less than I expected from the reviews, sure it’s not quiet but I could sleep no problem in the same room(my wife couldn’t lol).All in all after 30 minutes use I’m well impressed, if there are any issues I’ll update this review.

Good air con unit
Have used a couple of times now and is pretty good. While air con units aren’t cheap this was fine for the money. In fact I probably used it for a room twice it’s capacity but it performed well.

Good cold air blower
This took quite a bit of set up to get to an acceptable function, and it’s ok but has some flaws. The biggest flaw is the leakage from the hose: it doesn’t have a snug fit at either end, so there are gaps that exhaust leaks out of. So there’s cold air coming out of the front, and hot air leaking out of the back, kinda cancelling out any cooling effect. Some silicone caulk sealed up the gaps, but that was obviously an extra expense and work.The window attachments didn’t fit my windows, which I expected anyway so I’ve got mine connected to a vent brick with some DIY hackery, and after a lot of silicone caulk to plug gaps it successfully blasts the exhaust out through the wall in my bedroom. The problem is, the exhaust pipe itself gets really hot, and transfers that heat to the immediate surroundings so the wall etc also gets hot. After enough time running, it essentially turns into a little radiator in the corner of my room, so that when you turn it off it starts to warm the room up again. In future, I may apply some insulation to it, but again this is more cost and work.Noise wise, it’s loud, but of course it is. You’ll need ear plugs if you want to sleep with it on.In summary, what this does well is blast cold air into the room, what it doesn’t do well is actually lower the ambient temperature of the room. So if you want a nice cool air fan, which takes quite a bit of setup, then get this, if you want an actual air conditioning unit look for something better. All in all I’m satisfied with it though, it’s stopping me from overheating as we slowly cook the planet like a pot of boiling frogs ð

Life saver
This Portable Ac Unit was such a good buy I ended up buying a further two more for my home! It’s small and compact so not overly inconvenient at all. It cools the room within seconds and you recieve all the parts needed for the window.Will highly recommend.

A godsend.
This is an awesome machine and it does what it says. I used it in the bedroom mainly. I need to sleep well and this made it possible. We only ever had it on low and it is a little noisy, but our bedroom was cool and it kept us cool. Worth every penny imho.

Avec la chaleur et la canicule de cet été 2022, il était indispensable pour moi d’acheter une climatisation…Le descriptif correspond exactement au produit. La livraison a été rapide et très bien organisé avec la société Geodis (je pouvais suivre l’arrivée de mon colis en temps reel)L’emballage était impeccable.Le déballage, l’installation et la mise en route sont très simple.Juste quelques inconvénients, le tuyau d’évacuation est trop court (1m50) c’est possible de faire avec mais la clim doit être devant la fenêtre, un raccord d’au moins 3m serait plus confortable. Ensuite la minuterie pour programmer l’allumage et l’extinction automatique ne se programme qu’au niveau des heures, c’est c’est dire que vous choisissez dans combien d’heures la clim va se mettre en route ou s’éteindre mais vous ne choisissez pas les minutes, juste les heures, donc ce n’est pas très précis, mais c’est déjà pas mal d’avoir cette fonction. Et pour finir le bruit est impressionnant au début, mais je me suis vite adapté et cela ne me dérange plus, quand on doit choisir le silence avec la canicule ou le bruit avec la fraîcheur je pense qu’on fait vite son choix. Après 5 jours d’utilisation le bruit ne me dérange absolument plus et pourtant la clim est installée dans ma chambre et je dors très bien… elle ne fais pas plus de bruit qu’un gros ventilateur…En ce qui concerne les accessoires pour fenêtre, je pense que pour les fenêtres coulissantes cela doit être parfait mais moi qui ai des fenêtres charnières c’est un peu plus compliqué, il faut attaché le tuyau d’évacuation pour pas que le poids ne décroche les bandes de scratch qui donnent l’étanchéité de la fenêtre et le système est vraiment basique… malgré tout, ça marche très bien, c’est pas à 100% hermétique mais c’est quand même très correct et efficace….En résumé, pour l’instant, je trouve que c’est un très bon produit, plus que correct par rapport au prix (les prix changent et augmentent tous les jours) à moins de 200e je ne m’attendais pas à être aussi satisfaite.Je recommande ce produit, et je rachèterai le même pour mettre dans mon salon.N’hésitez pas, c’est un très bon produit

Quoiqu’on en dise, je le trouve relativement bruyant mais refroidit bien ! Sensation de “froid” en quelques minutes dans mon salon de 18 m2. Essayé quand je l’ai reçu, il faisait 22° ce jour là et je le trouvais beaucoup moins bruyant qu’aujourd’hui où il fait 30°. Je n’ose imaginer en grande vitesse… Par ailleurs, dans la présentation il est écrit que le calfeutrage fenêtre à charnière est en option, j’en ai acheté un et à ma grande surprise le calfeutrage fenêtre à charnière est fourni avec. Sorti du bruit, obligé de monter le son de la TV mais satisfait pour le froid.24 heures plus tard :On fini par s’habituer au bruit qui devient moins perturbant.

 En primer lugar que quede claro, hace ruido. Bastante ruido. Nosotros lo tenemos en el comedor y para escuchar la TV hay que subir el volumen bastante.Si bien es cierto que la función de ventilador hace bastante menos ruido y la potencia del chorro de aire es considerable.El precio es muy competitivo, por lo que si lo que buscas es sobrevivir al calor a buen precio, este producto es ideal, pero sacrificas ruido. Todo no se puede tener en esta vida.Para una estancia de 20m2 funciona bien, es capaz de bajar de los 30 y pico grados a unos agradables 25-26. Tampoco esperes que baje 10 grados, a no ser que sea una habitación pequeña.Trae 2 adaptadores para ventana. Si es corredera funciona genial, pero si es abatible el resultado es peor, tanto a nivel estético (queda cutre cutre) como de aislamiento (no es perfecto). Sin embargo, a no ser que seas un amante del fengshui este “problema” no será grave en comparación con las asfixiantes olas de calor de este verano.En resumen, un buen producto a muy buen precio, sabiendo cuales son los sacrificios que debes hacer para aprovechar sus beneficios. Una buena opción de mercado, pero obviamente no la mejor solución que existe.Espero que mi opinión le haya resultado de utilidad.
