We’ve chosen Soil Association certified organic unrefined Shea Butter for our formula. Not only is Shea Butter an edible ingredient, it is also anti-inflammatory, prevents premature ageing and is highly moisturising.
Antimicrobial properties
We use sustainable Coconoil unrefined virgin organic Coconut Oil which is also Soil Association certified.
Mineral broad spectrum protection
Widely acknowledged as offering the safest, broadest-spectrum sun protection possible, we have used a non-nano Zinc Oxide, which also has a cooling, antiseptic, antibacterial and protective action on the skin, which also makes Shade a perfect aftersun.
Nourishes the skin
We use a pure, sustainably-sourced unrefined beeswax which is completely non-toxic, locks in moisture, has excellent water-repellant properties and naturally nourishes the skin. In cosmetics, beeswax is an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-allergenic and a germicidal antioxidant making it a perfect sunscreen ingredient.

Surprisingly great sun protection
I really like this product for many reasons but mainly, and most importantly is that it does a very good job in protecting from the harmful rays of the sun!Iâm not sure why I thought otherwise yet it is surpassing really thick and therefore long lasting when it comes to needing to re-apply the cream. Perhaps I thought that with the ingredients being natural and non toxic and harmful that it would be watery and I affective, but quite the opposite really. In fact, it should be applied sparingly as it sits on top of the skin quite thickly as opposed to seeping in like more commercial sun creams.This then hits on another really important element of this product and that is the ingredients. I was looking for something natural due to the increasing research supporting that commercial sun creams could in fact be toxic and more harmful than good. I was looking for a natural alternative for my family (including kids) and this is when I stumbled upon this. It couldnât get more natural and you really can tell when using this product.The cream applies to the skin really nicely and almost acts a moisturiser. More so it doesnât leave a thick film on the skin and seems to absorb slowly and gradually and even then leaves the skin feeling so smooth and soft as opposed to greasy and oily.I really like this product. We have been using it for at least 2 summers now and would recommend it to literally everyone and anyone.

Fantastic safe organic sunscreen
I’m so happy to finally have this! I recently realised how potentially toxic most chemical suncreams are. And this product has only 4 ingredients, was really easy to order, and on top smells so nice due to the coconut oil. Thank you for making this!

Slightly grainy and thick in texture but is easily absorbed by the skin. Pleasant coconut smell. SPF is 25.

Very unhappy with this product
Iâve used this product on my daughter twice and each time she has broken out in a red rash.I used it on her for the 2nd time today as I wanted to be sure it was this that has caused the rash.I am not sure whether she is allergic to an ingredient or whether this is actually sunburn, but it is 100% due to the product as it is only in the places it was applied!She doesnât have sensitive skin and has never had a reaction to anything like this before.Would definitely not recommend.I will try it on myself and my husband to see if the same happens to us.

Esta bien xq no contiene toxicos ni disruptores, eso si, es pastosa, yo la llevo en el coche y del calor se ablanda pero si la tienes en casa hasta cuesta coger, deja blanco pero las que no dejan son las toxicas asi que bien

Wer auf natürliche Produkte steht, ist mit diesem Sonnenenschutz bestens bedient. Es sind wirklich nur 4 Inhaltsstoffe enthalten. Es lässt sich super verteilen, hinterlässt keinen weiÃen Film, wie man es von anderen Mitteln kennt. Der Duft ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber das liegt an der Zusammensetzung, verfliegt aber schnell, wenn man es aufgetragen hat. Klar ist auch, daà es regelmäÃig aufgetragen werden sollte, zb. wenn man stark schwitzt oder im Wasser war. Auch sollte es einige Zeit vor dem Sonnenbad aufgetragen werden.Das alles steht aber auf der Dose.Deshalb, wenn die Creme was nutzen soll, haltet Euch an die Vorgaben.Es ist kein Wunder, das man sich verbrennt, wie es in einer anderen Rezession bemängelt wurde, wenn man nicht regelmäÃig nachcremt oder damit extrem sonnenbaden geht. Das ist absolut nicht das Produkt Schuld sondern schlicht und ergreifend der Benutzer selbst!Ich finde diese Creme echt klasse und werde sie mir gleich noch mal bestellen.

Ich benutze die Sonnencreme als Tagescreme , also jedentag. Es ist schön zu wissen das ich damit mein Gesicht vor uv Strahlen schütze und etwas gutes tue. Es riecht gut, meine Haut ist schön weich. Damit der Sonnenschutz etwas gescheidiger ist, gebe ich wenige tropfen Tamanu öl hinzu. Zu beginn wirkt natürlich das Gesicht ölig, aber das legt sich nach einer gewissenzeit wieder. Das einzige Manko was mich stört ist, der preis ist schon recht hoch (Obwohl dieses produkt im Vergeich zu anderen noch erschwinglich ist), wenn ich mich damit noch anders eincremen würde (Oberarme und co) ist die creme schnell aufgebraucht. Habe das Produkt schon mehrmals gekauft, die konsistenz ist immer anders, was für naturprodkt normal ist.
