Does the job well
Works well, fairly fast inflating tyres on (old) Defender. Power lead is long enough to reach all wheels. Valve screws on to tyre valve, has an air release to reduce tyre pressure. Light is good and bright in the dark. Easy to use, clear readout, easy to switch between bar and PSi. Comes in a little bag so can stow away nicely.

Great quality and very powerful cigar socket powered unit. But be aware of power outlet limitations!
I was looking for a decent but relatively compact inflator for my 4×4 and caravanning needs. The problem with most similar and larger units is that they are so heavy on current, that they have to be connected directly to the vehicles battery. While this will work from a cigar lighter socket. Howeve,r this unit does push this type of socket to the limit and luckily my cars socket can cope with itâs 15 Amp current draw! But be aware, many such sockets are only able to supply 10 Amps or even less and they just will not work this unit! Because of this serious âAchilles heelâ, it would have been better had the unit also came with an adapter to allow direct connection to the battery as an alternative. Which is something, I will be seeking to add to mine. The unit itself is very solid and well designed. The tailored storage bag holds it all together, while still keeping the unit as compact as possible. The air line and power lead wraps around neatly and even having a âparkingâ place for the power leadâs plug underneath. The switches on it, are large and feel sturdy when operated. The fitted LED light is actually quite useful. Setting the desired inflation pressure is done using a small yellow dial-come-button, which you turn to select and press to set – both the scale, then the target pressure. The scale is shown in the bottom right of the large illuminating numeric display, the chosen preset value is displayed in the top section while the current actual pressure, is displayed in very large characters in the main display area. I checked the resultant tyre pressures with a calibrated pressure gauge and found the displayed reading to be quite accurate. The unit is relatively quiet in operation and the two air cooled pump cylinders are assisted with electric cooling fans, which also appears to considerably increase the maximum continuous run-time to 30 mins (Most unitâs appear to be rated at less than half this time!). Which is very welcome, especially when dealing with 4×4 tyres. It is also noticeably quicker to do itâs job, while not up to forecourt speeds, there is however, a clear improvement over standard 12V inflators.Overall, I am very happy with the unit, the build and quality are clear to

Best I’ve used
I have had two previous makes of inflator, both have been short lived, and not so easy to use. This worked well straight out of the box, and was accurate. Recommended

Not very happy,,
Not very happy ,,, Even though it was the Inflator I wanted , Its neat and tidy and built very well , On opening the bleed valve was broken off , I managed to put it back on so I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to come off , On fitting it and tilting the machine in my hand some thing was rattling in side loose . Another bad sign . So I thought I may as well try to put it on the valve of the car tyre , But I couldn’t get it to screw tight to give it a seal on the valve itself . After a few attempts I gave up and was disappointed because it was the one I wanted . I may try to order another one later on . Its put me off a bit , Because like I said its well built , The screw valve that attaches to the tyre valve is made of what looks like Brass , But the bleed valve is plastic ,, Which I can not understand why , Because we all sometimes drop that part when say unravelling or just after inflating , So it should with stand a few knocks you would think , But because its made of plastic may put me off . I use a separate hand held pressure gauge which has a brass bleed valve . So I might look for a different machine with out a bleed valve on . Some thing to keep in mind . Would I buy another . Yes I suppose I might later , It might have been just a faulty one . Didn’t get to use the pump part or the light , I was like a disappointed kid . lol .. The package itself could stay in the boot all the time , Its got a tidy little bag . Like said . Give it a try . I think I was just unlucky … Why I didn’t want a turn around for a new one was because I would have had to send the old one back myself , But if I just had a refund they would pick it up ? funny that so I just had a refund . Plucking up the courage to order another .

GREAT PRODUCT
The product looks well made.Mine stopped working recently, just outside the guarntee. However, I contacted the manufacturer, RING and they kindly sent me a new replacement, even though they had no obligation to do so.I feel that, good customer relations and service is very important to RING and as such, I would recommend and buy their products again

The most important factor me it is a valve attachment , a screw type that secuarly holds the attachment to the valve . Other tyre inflators have an attachment that locks on the valve , but it is inevitable that when you finish and try to remove it , some air pressure will escape and you are not quite sure if the right amount of pressure it is still present. The attachment of this machine it is far better

First one stopped working after a few uses: Replacement works without any problems.
I bought this in February and have used a few occasions, it still looks like new. It has developed a fault where it just stops pumping air after a few seconds and needs to be powered off and back on again, then it works for a few seconds again. I have tried to return it via Amazon but this is not possibly as it has now passed the 30 days. I loved it to start with. If I had bought it from Halfords or a shop, there would be no problem, getting it swapped or repaired. Sorely disappointed for the money. I have contacted Ring see what they can do! Maybe I’ll review my review. UPDATE: Ring agreed it was faulty and did their best to help get me a replacement. A new one arrived yesterday. 🙂

Non mi è piaciuto ricevere il prodotto nella confezione originale senza un seconda scatola di cartone che avrebbe protetto meglio il compressore rendendo anonimo il contenuto e consentendo visivamente eventuali segni di apertura. Inspiegabilmente il nastro adesivo, posto sul coperchio,era tagliato anche se il contenuto era integro. Ho acceso brevemente il compressore che si è avviato regolarmente ripromettendomi di verificare successivamente il funzionamento. La nota positiva è stata ricevere anticipatamente il pacco rispetto alla data prevista. Infine ho notato che gli articoli precedenti avevano tutti un secondo involucro direi indispensabile per i motivi suddetti. Saluti

I am happy with the purchase. I have quite a lot of equipment that needs to be inflated often (bikes, trolley for the kids, van air suspension and tyres etc.This ring rac830 will inflate a bike tyre in under 15 seconds, and it brought the air suspension from 2 to 3.5 bar in no time, 10 seconds maybe?I think it works great, but it was a bit expensive compared to other markets, still worth the extra money.

Il est utilisé principalement pour gonfler des pneus de 4X4. Le gonflage est relativement rapide et satisfaisant, mais évidemment pas comparable avec un gonfleur industriel. Il est esthétiquement réussi et relativement peu bruyant.J’ai remarqué qu’il s’arrêtait automatiquement 100 g au dessus de la valeur souhaitée. Probablement pour compenser les fuites lors du débranchement du gonfleur ? Un fusible de 15 A est à prévoir sur la prise allume-cigare. Pratique et peu encombrant il convient très bien pour une utilisation occasionnelle.Le rapport qualité/prix est correct, et comme toujours à voir dans le temps.

Der Kompressor hat Power. Läuft, wie für solche Dinger üblich, nicht gerade im Modus eines schnurrenden Kätzchens, brüllt aber auch nicht wie ein Löwe. Wir benutzen ihn mit einem entsprechenden Wandler auch über die Steckdose und nicht nur am Zigarettenanzünder. Solides Gerät, das bei Erreichen des vorgewählten Drucks abschaltet. Alles wie es sich gehört. Einzig die Lieferung war nicht wie erwartet. Neben dem Produktkarton gab es keinerlei weitere Verpackung. Der Lieferant hat schlicht das Adressetikett auf die Schachtel geklebt, dementsprechend zerknickt kam sie an. Wie gut, dass der Kompressor eine eigene Tasche hat, sonst wäre sicher mehr passiert. Alles in allem aber ein guter Kauf.
