  1. garry

    Rechargeable
This is a very handy unit you can plug it into your 12volt socket but better still you can charge the battery pack and use it cordless. Having the brass connector makes it a lot easier to connect to the tyre valve

  2. LVB

    Battery performance needs improving.
Ring Automotive’s RTC6000 Cordless 4-in-1 Tyre Inflator with Air Pump is a versatile and convenient tool that certainly adds a level of ease to tire maintenance. The quick-set auto stop feature ensures precise pressure control, preventing over-inflation.One notable aspect is its cordless design, providing mobility and eliminating the hassle of cords during operation. The 4-in-1 functionality, including an air pump, further enhances its utility, making it a handy tool for various inflation needs. However, the battery performance falls short of expectations, requiring frequent recharging. It’s worth noting that to achieve optimal and sustained performance, the inflator often needs to be plugged into the car charger. This dependency on constant charging might pose an inconvenience, especially for users seeking prolonged use on the go.Despite the battery limitation, the inflator’s overall functionality and convenience make it a valuable addition to any vehicle emergency kit, offering peace of mind for quick and efficient tire maintenance when needed. With the right expectations regarding battery life and charging, the Ring Automotive RTC6000 remains a solid choice for on-the-road tire inflation needs.

    Great tyre inflator
This is a brilliant product, so easy to use and does the job very quickly. It is small and and easy to store after use

  4. Pete C

    Top quality piece of kit
It’s easy quick to use and we’ll designed

  5. MS SYDNEY J BAYLEY

The instructions are off-putting; it’s actually very easy to use.
It works very well for my car and camper van, which has very high tyre pressures, being very heavy. There are lots of adaptors for bikes etc. It’s compact and easy to store.

  6. Burbler

Poor quality fragile hose connector, non standard charging connection, slow to charge
I’m like to return this because the hose connector no longer screws on to tyre vales. The thread material seems crumbly and fails easily. There is no backup clamp mechanism. The hose is built in and can’t be replaced. I had the same problem with a different model of Ring inflator. It seems Ring make their valve connectors out of low quality low strength metal to save money. I’ll be buying a different brand next time. The torch could also be a lot brighter and more useful given the size of the rechargeable battery. The convenience of cordless charging is nice but the fairly fragile charging cable and mains adapter have a non standard 3-pin connector. From other reviews it seems that a replacement cable is not available as a spare. Another poor design decision.

9/10 One of the best tyre inflators
Overall seems to be one of the better ones. Inflates tyres about 1min quicker than most other offerings. This one (RTC6000) is the one to go for if you’re looking for a cordless option without faffing with the 12v lead every time. 99% of the others out there will work this way, although this 12v lead does still come with it as an option and to charge it up. It will also deflate. I’ve given it 8/10 for two reasons:1. It takes EIGHT HOURS to charge the device back up again using the normal mains plug in your house. Seems a bit ridiculous by today’s standards. Also the plug and the way it connects to the device seems very flimsy/cheap. (It has 3 tiny pins – I imagine could get easily bent over time).2. So far, I haven’t got a green light to show it’s fully charged, despite leaving it charging for over 9 hours. My only other quibble is whether as other comments have said it’s worth adding .05 to the PSI setting when inflating for when you undo the connector or not as a little bit of air comes out. From what I can see, seems unnecessary. May be worth getting a little tyre pressure gauge to go with it.Apart from that, nice big digital lcd screen with progress indicator, extremely easy to use, comes with carry case and other connectors, inflates faster than others, not too noisy, great design.Edit 29/06/22 – Finally got a green light from it, just took a little bit longer. Would rate 9/10 now.

    Wish I’d bought sooner
Only used a couple of times so far but seems good quality and pumped up my bike and car tyres super quickly and much easier than using a foot pump. Not having to plug it in to use is great too and it’s quieter than I thought. Good value and I just wish I’d bought one earlier.
