Love this fan
I bought a air cooler from Argos £107 in sale was made by beldray it was no good so took it back to Argos and bought this one instead the wind power it blows out is very high I leave it on 1 through ghe night and. 2 in day time thatâs enough for me item is a great buy keeps u alot cooler very pleased with this air cooler

Assembly was easy – with bits left in the box!
Looks like it’s a strong airflow. Easy to put together but I had 3 small pieces of what appears to be felt left over from assembly. I’ve no idea what they are and because I had already sent an email to Pro-breeze they were a bit snotty when I emailed to ask what they were. They just replied telling me not to send multiple messages – so I’ve still no idea what these things are for. Assembly was easy. Two halves of base clip together and then 4 Phillips screws to hold it securely in in place. Filling with water was NOT so easy for me. Tank has to be disconnected from the gubbins inside and the turn key is not easy to manipulate if you have weak fingers. It took me a while to refit it too. Having sad that the controls look easy to use and the airflow has 3 speeds. There is a mode to alternate speeds to give natural breeze. It’s not too loud – even on top speed and there is a night mode that is even quieter. I’ve not used the timer yet, or the ice packs. It’s a lot quieter than our old desktop fan and less hassle than dragging our Aircon unit out and connecting bit to the WiFi. Altogether, it’s a nice stylish unit. I just wish I knew what these bits of felt were for ð¤£

Early days yet as new purchase, but works really well and powerful. The way the filter connects inside the water tank is a little fiddly though, but this is my only criticism though.

I have been very pleased with this air cooler so far. We have not had extremely hot weather yet for it to cope with, but feel confident that adding ice blocks will deal with it. It is fairly quiet and looks smart.

A normal fan is the same
I have tested both this and a normal fan side by side and there is literally no difference, I have ice cold water in it with ice packs and it literally does nothing extra. on full power it is less powerful than a normal fan and 5x louder. you would be better of spending £100 on a normal top of the range fan or just pay the extra for a actual air con unit

Was too big. I wasn’t expecting it that big. It took up the little space I had in the bedroom. Just think about a normal 40inch tall fan and the width yea? Multiply it by 3 width wise, and then the height too was nearly same height as me and I’m 167cm, this is probably 157cm ish but that’s not even the point, I got worried that the 7l place for the water will get screwed by limescale and this discouraged me, cos there didn’t seem to be any way of removing that part completely and washing.

It does the trick as a regular fan, but would definitely not recommend this over a small air conditioning for small spaces if you have a very warm apartment. The sun hits my place all day and this fan helps, but it is not enough.
