Will never use a normal fan again
Omg!! Iâm so impressed? Have made other family members purchase these fans too.. it does what it says, water cools down the air which cools down the room.. I no longer have to suffer living in a sweat box. I can keep outside noise out with my windows closed and be cool in the process.. a must buy!! Am fully converted and a huge fan (lol)

Got the fan out of hiding. This will be four seasons of use so far and itâs still working well (touch wood). I always have a selection of ice blocks to use. The bigger Ice blocks along with cold water help keep the fan blow out cold air. A must have to help keep a room comfortable when itâs annoyingly hot. Great for my dogs. Remember to keep the curtains/blinds closed to help shade the room.

Lasted 6 weeks
It is fairly loud compared to a fan even on the lowest setting. It’s definitely better than a fan though for cooling.However, mine only lasted 6 weeks before developing a leak and soon after failed all together. The room it was in was filled with a burning smell before it stopped blowing any air at all. I would guess the leak got into the electrics. Just glad I was in the room as it happened to pull the plug as it was still under power.I’ve not had any reply from the seller over how to get a replacement or refund and as its not supplied directly from Amazon its not as simple as it should be to communicate with the seller. All I could do was leave feedback through my order history.Therefore I would recommend trying to find another one where the supplier might have better customer service/ways of contacting them or one that is directly supplied by Amazon because as it stands I don’t even know if I am going to get a reply or not to sort it out which is not great considering the value of the item.UPDATE.Arranged with Amazon for collection on September 5th aftwr getting nothing back from leaving feedback for the seller and it was supposed to be collected within 7 days by Evri, but they never bothered to collect it, but I have since found out that Evri were previously Hermes so that explains why.Since learned that I would have needed to print a label which I cannot do as I don’t have a printer. Amazon’s ‘customer services’ only other idea was to have it delivered back to them at my expense. Of all the companies I have checked with will only collect and take it if I print the label.Funny how Amazon can deliver most things in a day but refuse to collect items themselves, instead putting that responsibility onto an outside company. Gives them an excuse to refuse refunding a £150.00 item I guess.Such a huge company with massive resource and they can’t even collect faulty items themselves. What a joke. Nor do they need a good customer service team since people buy from them without considering other options because of the convenience. They make so much money that they just even need to give a toss about any form of service other than the service that gets items to your door as quickly as possible.As it stands I will get no more help from Amazon to get this back to them for my refund. Their equally useless supervisor at customers services said so. Literally to ability to think outside of their script, they may as well have sack the lot and have Alexa on customer services.

Not as effective as I had hoped
Item works, but I find I need to position it close tome to notice its benefit. I had thought it would provide cooling for my small home office; it provides a gentle, cooling, personal breeze.

Excellent product and service
This air cooler is the best I have ever had (and I have had a few in recent years). It sends a fantastic amount of cool (cold if you use ice packs and cubes) air into the room immediately after turning on. The noise level is quite surprising considering the size of the cooler. It is no noisier than any other household fan. On the lowest setting it is barely audible. The water chamber is also the largest I have seen in any air cooler (5 litre) and therefore lasts quite a long while (no more watching the water level and constantly topping up). On the lowest setting the unit did not need re-filling for more than 7 hours. Apart from having a window at the front there is also an alarm (beeping sound) that tells you when the water level is getting low. It also comes with a remote control so you don’t even have to leave your chair to alter the settings. Overall this air cooler is a must for anyone suffering in these hot and muggy Summer days and nights. Not only is it a fantastic device but it also looks good too. And with next day delivery what more could you ask for. This air cooler has kept my living room nice and cool making the days bearable. I am seriously considering getting another one for my bedroom.
