Brilliant
Nice small size, fits on bedside table easily. Offers multiple fan speeds, cooling levels and has a timer for automatic shut off.Downsides are the tank for the water is small and only lasts around 4 hours,LED lights the front are very bright. I’ve had to cover them so I can sleep,Fan can only be angled up or down so has to face you if you want to feel it.

Being of a certain age, a whole 44, I find myself having what we will call ‘tropical’ moments, especially at night. I have standard fans which are useless in hot weather. I saw this on amazon and the reviews were good so I thought that I would give it a go! The fan is brilliant, couldn’t ask for more but now the husband has moved back into our room so I’m going to return it! In all seriousness, this is a great little cooling fan with 4 fan speeds, four timer options, two cooling modes and a little light that changes colour. I would highly recommend. If you think you are missing the little plug at the back, it’s stuck on the fan section at the back. It’s USB and comes with its own wire and plug.

Its a must buy if you dont want a normal fan
So I bought this not having very high hopes because at the end of the day its just water and ice, not refrigerant pressurised gas, but hey it does cool the local area in front of the fan more than I thought. Its definitely not freezing cold but its definitely not just blowing the warm air on my face.The one flaw I do have so far is the fact that I didn’t have a bung for my water catch tray so I could see water just leaking out if I didn’t block the hole with blutac first. ;)I primarily bought this for office use as people keep fighting over the actual ac, but at least now i can sit quite comfortably at my desk regardless of what people are doing. Fire hazard – connector burnt out.
I recently purchased this unit in June for £40, this unit is worth HALF that, not the advertised price. It is an effective unit at keeping a person cool and for that aspect it is brilliant. I am very conscious about keeping water away from the connector when I refill it.However, I smelled burning coming form this unit and found that the connector had gotten so hot that both the male and female solder connections had fused together and melted, I had to rip the hot & melting cable out with some force, which is why the broken connector is still stuck inside!Luckily, I was awake when this happened, had I been asleep it could have caught fire and that would have been disastrous for my family.Please keep in mind that the QC for these units is very poor, I do NOT recommend buying it. Any probability of this happening again and progressing to a fire is too big of a chance for anyone. Please spend a bit extra on a reputable brand that takes Quality Control seriously. I have worked as an electrical engineer and something like this would have been tested and picked up within the manufacturing process, showing this company’s negligence in regard to consumer safety.It is not acceptable for the £40 price tag (at the time) that I paid. For £20, it’s certainly not worth the fire hazard.

A complete utter waste of money and time, I bought this for my home office which is smaller than the size of a car parking space. The cooler did absolutely nothing at all, even in that teeny tiny room.When used without any added water or ice, it functions like a terrible low powered fan at best, you have to have your face within 10 inches from it to feel the cooling.With just cold water added, the cooler becomes much more noisier, there are mists coming out but again you need to be within 10 inches to feel the effect.With ice added it performs more like AC, itâs cooling as long as the ice is still there, but again if you move 10 inches away from it, you get nothing at all.You need to put your face right infront of it to cool down, so only your face will be cool while the rest of your body is sweating like crazy.I left it running in my really tiny tiny home offices for hours, while topping off the ice every few hours but it didnât even cool it down by a little. To the person reading this, just buy a fan, much better then this junk.

Really quick delivery, lightweight, quite quiet, easy to use, USB plug so I powered it from my powerbank and is therefore perfect for my campervan. I can imagine though in a large room you would need to be sat right next to it.The cooling jets really make a difference. Would recommend.

It is leaking at the bottom tray as the plug is missing .Also one of the led has gone after a few hours usage.
