I haven’t actually put it in use yet because I am concerned. It doesn’t have any paperwork that could prove the claims and I find it dangerous.It seems well made, it is lightweight and easy to use but nothing formal to feel secure.Just a plastic straw.

I ordered this personal water filter thinking it was a possible alternative for a LifeStraw to have in my civil emergency kit. Unfortunately, there is no information, certification or evidence provided to back up its claims for filtration efficacy or for safety. If you are in a position where you have no access to potable water, you need to know that any filter you use is both effective and safe – for example, if a filter improves clarity and taste or water, but doesn’t remove E coli or Giardia, then it’s not only not effective, but could be very risky to the user’s health. I would therefore definitely NOT recommend this filter.
