Paula’s Choice CALM Barrier Protect Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30
Having had laser hair removal I was recommended to use this type of SPF and I find it works well as a physical (rather than chemical) SPF by using Titanium Dioxide.It’s moisturising and I haven’t had any issues with sensitivity.

Lighter than most mineral sunscreens
I have rosacea, and due to the recent sunshine I have been having a flare up, so I am back on the soolantra. Thus in some ways it’s a perfect time for me to be trying this SPF, although if my redness and sensitivity does improve over the next couple of weeks that will probably be thanks to the soolantra. All the same, anything that can help is worth trying.I always use SPF50 all year round, partly to help calm my rosacea and partly because I don’t want to wrinkle. The fact I don’t always reapply strictly is probably the reason I have had a flare up (I have definitely caught the sun and my freckles have come out). So this being “only” SPF30 was a bit of a concern for me. I suspect that’s because it is a mineral sunscreen, and the more titanium they use the more heaviness and white cast a product tends to have.This hasn’t got much of a white cast and doesn’t feel too greasy so I guess it is a good balance. It sinks into the skin quite easily without too much rubbing. My skin continues to feel hydrated through the day, and I don’t think it’s clogging my pores. I have no sensitisation from this.There is a bit of an unpleasant aroma to this, I guess from the natural ingredients, and it isn’t light and fresh the way some of the Korean SPF products are. But it is definitely better than a lot of the mineral sunscreens I have tried over the last couple of years. I will keep using this, although I won’t take it out with me because for reapplication, the Garnier facial spray SPF50 is a lot better, being quick and non greasy. It can be really hard with a fringe, but that’s the best solution I have found.I note the other reviewer says they used this sparingly and I want to emphasise- that’s NEVER a good idea with SPF products. You have to use them liberally to get the promised protection.

Pricy sunscreen
This sunscreen is a dream come true! It rubs in quickly and leaves no greasy residue, perfect for those who hate the feeling of heavy sun cream. It worked well for my dad’s sensitive skin and mine.However, the downside is the price and size. It’s a bit expensive for a small tube. The good news is, you don’t need a lot of product per application, so it might last longer than expected.Overall, if you have sensitive skin or dislike greasy sunscreens, this product is definitely worth considering, despite the price tag.

Amazing product that actually works at reducing redness
I love this product because it actually works, sometimes my skin can get very red and sensitive from deep cleansing or chemical masks and this cream helps soothe and reduce redness whilst providing SPF protection

Nice to apply and not at all greasy
This has virtually no scent and when rubbed in is absorbed quickly and leaves no greasy residue behind.My father has some skin problems and found this to be good for him and I myself have used it and I really like the fact it does rub in very quickly and not leave you at all greasy once its been rubbed in.It is quite expensive and it is a small tube but I will say you don’t need to apply a lot of it. I think if you do have sensitive skin or an aversion to greasy sun creams then it might be worth trying this product.

This is perfect on sun sensitive skin like my granddaughter hasUsed some in her today and so far no reaction to the cream or sun, cooled her skin down quickly taking any redness awayDonât know how well it will work in the heights of summer but I have no reason to assume it wonât do a good jobsUse sparingly too

Revenge of the white cast… Returns!
So the cream itself feels nice but it leaves a white cast which is more noticible on more tan complexions like my own. You can’t use a tiny amount to reduce the level of the white cast since you won’t be getting adequate protection from the sun, so it’s a tricky one.I like the ingredients and so far I haven’t had any issues with irritation and breakouts as a result of using the sun cream. I did have some pilling which I’m trying to investigate, it might have reacted to the cream I used underneath. Not ideal but it happened. Using on its own is fine though.Overall not my favourite sun cream. It’s not bad but it’s not one I’d reach for the most due to the white cast and pilling.

Im Zuge eines Produkttestes durfte ich dieses Produkt auf Herz und Nieren testen.Gerne teile ich meine Meinung mit euch.Geliefert wird hier ein hoher Sonnenschutz des beliebten Herstellers Paula’s Choice.Wie immer wurde schnell und sicher geliefert.Auf dem Umkarton stehen alle relevanten Infos.Wer sich etwas mit der Alterung der Haut beschäftigt, wird schnell merken, dass Falten, Pigmentstörungen und allgemein die Alterung durch UV Strahlen gefördert wird. Bedeutet der beste Schutz vor der Alterung ist ein Sonnenschutz!Man muss hier auch keine Angst haben, dass man nicht braun wird, man bräunt sich trotzdem ;)Ich creme mich daher jeden Tag (ja jeden Tag – auch im Winter) mit Sonnenschutz ein.Besonders wichtig ist mir hier eine sichere Variante, also ein hoher LSF und auch eine milde Pflege, die die Haut nicht reizt.Diese Sonnencreme kommt leicht formuliert aus und ist vegan. Mit einem LSF mit 30 ist sie sicher und reizt die Haut in keiner Weise. Es dürfte gerne auch 50 oder gar 50+ sein, aber 30 reicht zumindest für die Ãbergangszeiten. Der Schutz ist mineralisch, das weiÃelt zwar, ist aber absolut unbedenklich und reizt die Haut nicht. Die Stoffe schützen die Barriere sogar.Der Preis ist sehr hoch, daher ziehe ich einen Stern ab. Es ist aber ein rundum tolles Produkt, ähnliche Produkte bekommt man aber auch etwas günstiger.

Ich habe die Paula’s Choice CALM Barrier Protect Mineral Tagescreme mit LSF 30 getestet und bin sehr zufrieden. Die leichte Tagescreme mit mineralischem Lichtschutzfaktor 30 schützt die Haut effektiv vor UVA- und UVB-Strahlung. Die mineralischen Filter sind besonders gut für empfindliche Haut geeignet, da sie keine Reizungen hervorrufen. Neben dem mineralischen Sonnenschutzfilter enthält die Creme auch beruhigende und pflegende Inhaltsstoffe wie Allantoin, Centella Asiatica und Präbiotika. Diese Inhaltsstoffe stärken die Hautbarriere, lindern Rötungen und Reizungen und sorgen für ein angenehmes Hautgefühl. Die Creme hat eine leichte, gelartige Textur, die sich leicht verteilen lässt und schnell einzieht. Sie hinterlässt keinen fettigen Film und eignet sich daher auch für fettige und Mischhaut. Die Creme lieà sich leicht verteilen und zog schnell ein, ohne ein fettiges Gefühl zu hinterlassen. Meine Haut fühlte sich nach der Anwendung weich und gepflegt an, was ich besonders schätze.Ein groÃer Pluspunkt dieser Tagescreme ist der enthaltene Sonnenschutzfaktor 30. Gerade im Alltag finde ich es wichtig, meine Haut vor schädlicher UV-Strahlung zu schützen, und mit dieser Creme fühle ich mich rundum geschützt. Auch nach mehreren Stunden in der Sonne hatte ich nicht das Gefühl, dass meine Haut übermäÃig strapaziert wurde.Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass der Preis von 40⬠für eine Tagescreme schon ziemlich hoch ist. Meine Haut neigt zu Rötungen und Irritationen, aber mit dieser Creme habe ich bisher keine negativen Reaktionen festgestellt. Im Gegenteil, sie hat sogar dazu beigetragen, meine Haut zu beruhigen und zu glätten.Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit der Paula’s Choice CALM Barrier Protect Mineral Tagescreme LSF 30. Sie erfüllt meine Erwartungen an einen täglichen Sonnenschutz und Pflegeprodukt voll und ganz, auch wenn der Preis sicherlich ein abschreckender Faktor sein kann. Wer jedoch Wert auf hohe Qualität und effektive Pflege legt, wird mit dieser Creme sicher nicht enttäuscht.

Die Creme zieht schnell ein, sodass aus dem starken Glanz nach dem Auftragen ein gepflegtes Schimmern wird. Das ist für eine mineralische Sonnencreme schon relativ gut.Leider weiÃelt sie für meinen Geschmack schon fast zu stark. Auch wenn dieser Effekt nach dem Einziehen stark abnimmt, hätte ich bei dem Preis mehr erwartet. Sollte man noch drüberschminken, ist das allerdings zu vernachlässigen.Das Produkt riecht relativ dezent nach einer typischen umparfümierten Sonnencreme. Dieser Geruch ist auch nach dem Auftragen dauerhaft warnehmbar, was mich persönlich etwas stört.Ansonsten fühlt sich die Creme aber angenehm pflegend auf der Haut an. Für den sehr stolzen Preis hätte ich dennoch etwas mehr erwartet.

Die – “Paula’s Choice CALM Barrier Protect Mineral Tagescreme LSF 30 …” – Sonnencreme ist sehr ergiebig und zieht schnell komplett ein. Danach sieht man nichts mehr von ihr. Meine empfindliche eher trockene Haut reagiert darauf nicht irritiert. Wasserfest ist sie nicht.Innerhalb der Packung stehen die Informationen auch auf Deutsch und anderen Sprachen.Die Macherin der Marke namens Paula Begoun hat sich offenbar sehr intensiv mit Hautpflege beschäftigt. Sie sieht aus wie 48 (ok – geschminkt und frisiert…) aber ist angeblich 70 Jahre alt. Nachdem ich noch mehr über diese Marke in Erfahrung gebracht habe, ziehe ich in Erwägung, auch andere “maÃgeschneiderte” Hauptpflegeprodukte zu beziehen. Es klingt alles sehr vielversprechend.Diese Sonnencreme kann man jedenfalls bedenkenlos für unter ein Make-Up einplanen, oder einfach so verwenden – auÃer beim Wassersport oder starkem Schwitzen.
