Children hook their completed sums over their mammoth’s trunk as they race to be the first back to the cave. Mammoth Maths encourages strategic thinking, turn-taking and numeracy skills, but most importantly, it’s fun!

Torch Magic Viewer
Children will love the added fun of the magic viewer which they can use to check their answers.
Feather Card
If a player lands on a feather card they can choose to make another player’s mammoth sneeze and lose a stone card from it’s trunk! This adds a fun element and encourages older children to begin to play strategically.
Number Line
Mammoth Maths includes a helpful number line which can be used as a visual aid to help children solve their maths problems.
Two Levels of Difficulty
Players can choose to solve easy or more challenging maths problems, which encourages progressive learning and allows players of different abilities to play together.

Very very good, but could be improved on!
Bought for my 4 year old Grandson who loves maths. He really enjoyed playing it the first couple of times but then, once heâd correctly calculated the answers a few times, began to loose interest. Iâve actually made more cardboard âbouldersâ with different sums on them to extend the interest time. Anything that encourages children to enjoy maths is a good thing….and this game is very good, but could definitely do with âsetsâ of sums at different levels ( even if they were available as an âadd onâ ) to extend its âlifeâ .

Magic torch creates engaging mechanic
Anyone familiar with Orchard Toys should now the basics. You get a robustly made and charmingly design ‘game’ which helps bring learning to life for your children.We bought this to help my son understand the concept of addition and subtraction better. The ‘magic torch’ which reveals the correct answer makes it super exciting and he can identify whether he got the answer right himself. An extra bonus is that the mammoth stands are super cute too!

A wonderful game for learning maths
Brought this for my 4 year old daughter during a period of isolation before Christmas and she loves it – we are using it to compliment her school learning so on the easier sums at the moment but it wonât be long before sheâs using the harder sums. The number line was helpful at first but now sheâs confident to answer without.Itâs an excellent game that helps learn sums in a fun way
