    STOP LOOKING! YOU FOUND IT!!!
I live in a first-floor flat that can reach +38 degrees in the summer. Unbearable!! This unit will make a world of difference! AND I will give you a breakdown of my findings, tips and things to know when considering an AC/This item. Including my honest opinion.Let’s clear up a couple of things. This is a ‘cheap’ unit in comparison to the big brands. The cost saving is on the aesthetics, NOT the functionality/performance. You are going to see some cheaper feeling plastics and a basic user interface(s) like manual flaps to alter the direction of flow (see pictures) and remote. The swankiest part is the touch buttons on the top. Don’t let this put you off, this unit is not a well-known brand and as I did, question if it works/worth the money. It’s a lot of money to put on a whim and prayer. You can rest easy!!! It works well for the price and will vent out hot air (hose/window kit comes with it) and push cold air into your room. If you use on dehumidifier setting, it will take the humidity out (the bit that makes you feel the most like an unbearably sweaty, puddle of a person) and punch refreshing and tantalizing cool air into your life. You will have to empty the internal collection tank more often but, the choice is there and a recommended one. You can also just run it on Fan mode or AC setting your desired temp. When the unit reaches the desired temp, the fan will still keep running and turn off the chiller functionality. If the temp rises, it will turn the chiller back on. It has timers, 2 levels of speed, dehumidifier, Fan Only, up/down buttons, and a warning light that will illuminate red, shutting off the unit, when the internal collection tray is full. There are 2 drain plugs to empty it. One at the bottom to empty into a tray or bucket and one at the top to have connected to a constant drain into a vessel or outlet for constant drainage if you use the dehumidifier more regularly for example. Very little water is stored in the tray if you only use AC and can be drained once a week or so.ITS NOICY. A small price to pay to actually be cool. You will notice it more than a standing fan that pushes hot air around the room but, less than you might think. I can still hear the TV, someone talking across the room over the noise of the unit it’s just a small trade-off for cold air, the lesser of evils if you will? night time, it depends on how you sleep. If you prefer perfect silence, it will probably bother you but, again.. it can be toned out. Better than restless sleep due to being uncomfortably hot.Make sure to do your homework. Getting bigger does not equal colder. If you get too big of a BTU for your space, it will warm up the room. On the other hand… too small for your space, it won’t work as efficiently. It still may cool your room down, it will just take longer and cost you more to run overall. It works like your fridge… It boils a liquid with a low boiling point which creates a gas. This gas cools the air. The heat created from boiling the liquid into a gas is cooled through an internal radiator (like in your car, see picture). This heat is vented through the provided pipe out the window and all you should be left with cold air coming out of the machine. So yes, it will need to be placed near a window to be vented. Window kit also provided to put into window opening with optional slidable block you can attach nozzle in that will block the opening of the window.Work out your rooms Square Foot to see if this will be adequate for your space. Measure your longest wall in meters and then times this by your shortest. My room is 6m x 3M. 6 x 3 = 18 square foot. Perfect! Usually measured by BTU, different brands will tell you some different figures for what their unit is capable of and usually will be down to the energy ratings/efficiency of the unit (my opinion). Generally speaking, get as close to the size of BTU you need, when considering the unit for you.Its not an easy decision to make buying an air conditioner but, let me put your mind at rest, your money here is well invested. It makes a BIG difference. The second that scorching heat hits, you will have friends you didn’t know you had, wishing they were there with you. You will be ice cold wondering what all the fuss is about. When I bought mine, I immediately felt bad “have I really just spent that amount of money? I hope I haven’t made a big mistake?”. Within seconds of turning it on, I wish I had bought it sooner. It actually works and I now hate conventional heat wafters (fans) that have little to no effect on a hot day that as soon as you are out of their airflow, you immediately want to die of heatstroke and feel worse off. Seriously, being stuck in high humidity heat with little to no way of changing this can be very uncomfortable. You feel like you are being tortured alive if you like? Having an AC is the answer. Plus… helps when you have kids who are happy and cool… and not driving you up the wall over something you can’t change lol 😊It will cost you approximately 20 – 40p an hour to run. Something to be mindful of but, I usually turn mine on with the doors and windows shut and in the hour, slaving over the hot oven in the kitchen, am greeted to a wall of cold air as much as 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the house. I turn it off as soon as I have the desired temp and provided doors are kept closed, will only run it in short bursts to keep it there. It is efficient enough that it is not running 24/7. It removed the heat from the room not pushing it to the other corner and feeling instantly hotter when you turn it off. With this in mind, I have not noticed a massive spike in energy consumption etc.Sorry… it’s a long one. Well done and thank you for reading this far. Honest opinion, get one. You will feel the difference. And ultimately, if it is not quite right for you and (or), you need something different, it is reasonably priced enough that you will have not destroyed your back pocket to try one for the first time and, more to the point, if it’s still the summer season, there will always be someone who is like I was for the last 6 years, regretting not getting one before the hot weather arrived with sellers inflating their prices, pricing out people who cannot now get their hands on a reasonably priced unit due to being sold out etc or, only expensive limited options available. These are the people that will take your whole arm off to get it off you and pay the price to feel cool in a state of pure sadness and exhaustion from the heat. Very British lol 😊I hope that this will have given you a little bit more to help you make an informed choice? In an ideal world, these would be more affordable and generally our UK weather is not consistently hot so, can seem a bit of a luxury to have one for those odd days/weeks in the year. I would still get one. On average days like we have been having around low 20’s where it is ridiculously humid, 20 minutes here and there to take that edge off! Remove the stickiness and to be able to cook in the house… worth every penny!Hopefully, happy spending… Join the cool side.. We have cookies because we can bake them in the summer lol haha 😊Cheers, 🙂

    Works well
Overall, very pleased with this unit. The window fitting supplied would work fine for sliding windows (up and down or side to side), but not with windows that open out. My wife did not like the idea of any of the fittings that can be purchased for about £20 to enable the unit to be vented from our type of window, as it seems they have to be stuck on. We solved the problem by using the supplied window venting kit and purchasing a 2 mm thick perspex sheet to fill in the rest of the window. A bit of ingenuity is needed to fix both items together, but it’s not difficult. Now the unit can be in place and working in under 5 minutes, and taken down just as easily. We use the unit for a few hours in the afternoon to cool our bedroom, which it does well, and for a few hours in the evening to cool our bedroom and dressing room. This still works, but the larger space means that the temperature reached is slightly higher, still ok to sleep in though. The downside of the unit is that it is quite noisy. The sleep mode is about the same noise level as the low power level (at least I am unable to tell the difference between the two). I am able to sleep with the unit on, but my wife is not, hence the turning off at night. We have not used the dehumidifier setting yet, or the fan setting. So far we have not had to drain the unit, so I am not able to comment on how easy that is to do, but looks quite simple from the instruction booklet. It’s probably a good idea to consider where the unit will be stored when not in use, as it probably will not be needed all year round.Pleased I purchased this, it may not be perfect in every way, but for the price it does the job and keeps me cool enough in the hottest weather.

As good as can be expected of this type of unit
I bough one of these earlier this year 2021. For the price it does a good job of genuine “conditioning” (it both cools and dehumidifies). It’s important to appreciate that with all of these types of unit, by virtue of their price and the compact portable size, both the cooling and hot air extraction are within the same unit, compared to much more expensive domestic and commercial installations where the cooling fan is inside and the refrigeration/hot air extraction is outside. This gives two issues, firstly the fan noise may be intrusive for some, and secondly ambient air is sucked in from outside the room, so this limits the temperature differential to a few degrees below the ambient temperature, no matter how low you set the temperature on the unit and how long you let it run. Having said that the combination of the cooler, dryer air and fan circulation do make a big difference to the comfort levels, and to get around the noise issue I simply leave the unit on for an hour or two before I go to bed then switch off.

Noisy and delivered to the wrong house
Reached out to netta to find out where my item was delivered, have to say their customer support was rubbish it concluded the it was delived to the GPS with no signature and in a porch that I do not have , and netta just left it at that knowing I still didn’t have it , went door to door to find out and turned out it was in the property to the rear of me we don’t know eachother . On to the product . It is so flipping loud I assumed that it’s because it was bringing it to temprature it isn’t it continues to be loud long after that , sleep mode is as useless as a chocolate teapot , still super noisy noone is sleeping with that on . The kit it comes with pipe for example is good quality but not very long so needed to purchase a extension.Overall I would not recommend this product the customer service is poor and it’s super noisy which is not what anyone wants .

Great idea but mine lacked the cooling promised. Really just an expensive fan. As a small fan with USB power – it is good but not something I’d recognize as a really effective ‘cooling’ device. Maybe dig a little deeper in reviews. Also be sure the reviews are for the product you are buying – another similar product was highly reviewed but they were for a completely different product.
