Customers say

Customers like the comfort, weight and value of the furniture. For example, they say it’s very comfortable, supportive and compact to transport. They’re also satisfied with the value and practicality. That said, some complain about the size, saying it’ll fit within a standard tent but it’d be too big for a two man dome tent. They also have issues with sturdiness. Opinions are mixed on quality and ease of assembly.

    So far so good.
Only used a couple of times so far for 4 nights each time. A bit tricky to assemble the first time, but easier the second time as the fabric had loosened a little. Easy to put up/pack away and seems sturdy enough so far. Not the widest of beds, but comfy enough.

Brilliant, easy to put together, light and comfy and stable – what more could you ask for from a camp bed!
We have 3 Vango camp beds which are great but very low and a bit of a pain to put together so we thought we would get the Milestone Camping folding camp beds which are higher from the ground and just need unfolding. They arrived the next day – I love PRIME – and were easy to unfold and I had no problem putting the end bars on but I am a 6′ 2″ bloke who is reasonably strong – that said it was my son who said you need to feed the bar through the looped cloth at the end of the bed to make it completely stable. We have all tested the two we bought and its stable, so long as you sit in the middle and not on the end corners, its comfy and large enough to snuggle in and find a good sleeping position. I am ordering two more so I can certainly recommend this camping bed – we are off camping for a week so I will add an update on the next purchase feedback soon.My only moan has nothing to do with the camping bed but with Amazon’s packing policy! The beds each arrived in a huge box and because I had ordered two I had two huge boxes – not very efficient as the box could have held 4 of the camp beds – not to mention the waste of cardboard and packaging to fill the almost empty box.calasparia piella ric

    Get what you pay for
Lightweight but not the strongest materials. I think it should be OK if not abused. The frame is OK but the canvas is cheap, although probably replacable. The bed isn’t expensive and will be better than blow up mattresses type beds for camping.

    A quality item.
Ends are hard to clip in but its a solid bed when its put together easy to put away quickly and comfortable to sleep on .10/10 from me

    Just perfect
Very comfortable. Benefits from an old sleeping bag directly between you and the cloth as an extra insulation but most of them will. Very firm to get out of. I am disabled, weigh about 70kg and have to push really hard to get out of it but it puts up with this with no problem. I also have three medium size dogs that seem to think that this is more comfortable than their own beds. It puts up with all this weight and abuse with no problems. I did use a small pillow to cover the top metal section in order not to knock my face on it at night. Again most of them will benefit from this. Easy to set up but my lack of core body strength means that a mallet helps get the right tension very quickly. Recommended as being one of the more sturdy lightweight beds around.

  6. Practical Outdoorsy Type

    A folding camping cot.
Putting it up can be a bit stiff at first, the material needs stretching over time, but follow the instruction and you should have no trouble. The design is an old one, but for modern use materials. It curves slightly in the sleeping area, this can lead to stiff shoulders/neck. Also, you can store things under it while it is up. Like most camp beds they have a weight limit and a common sense user approach to optimise the longevity and function. Do not use it as a table or a bench. If you need to sit on it, make sure you sit where there are supports, otherwise it could bend the side supports. We have 3 of these. This will get you off the ground and give more support then an air bed. Depending on personal preference, these may be better than an air bed or mat.

    Impossible to finish assembly
The final end bar could *not* be clicked into place, despite two healthy blokes trying hard together.Just not enough play in the fabric. But the side bar is left sitting on top of the lug on the end bar, so it’s usable I hope. I’ll bounce around on it by way of a test, but not ideal.

Good temporary/permanent bed replacement. Good for bad back and dislocated shoulder.
If used as a permanent bed replacement it can last up to 1 year & 6 months if you weigh up to 65KG.I Recommend:1. That you don’t fold it up to much2. If you weigh 65KG+ don’t put all your weight on either the corner or the sides but put your rear down dead centre or you “will” bend one of the aluminium legs.3. If you push you’re self along expect friction burns if you don’t use a blanket.4. If you don’t fold up the bed and walk passed it watch out for the corners, they stick out and even with the plastic caps on the ends they are still sharp, expect scrapes on your lower legs.5. To avoid scrapes on your lower legs, wrap 1 or more socks round the corners and use duck-tape.6. When you fold it up watch out that the sheet doesn’t get trapped at the centre, it will cause it to tare holes in it.7. When unfolding it watch out that the sheet doesn’t get trapped at the ends, it won’t unfold and is a pain to get loose.8. When putting it together some muscle is needed, in the 1st 2 days it can be a tight fit, also when laying on it for the 1st time expect some lowed creaking noises.9. If you suffer from a bad lower back, lay flat but expect to do 1 sit up everyday in order to get up.10. If suffering from a dislocated shoulder expect it to take up to 8 months to heal, try not to turn otherwise expect 6 months of waking up screaming. In the 1 year & 6 months I used the first of these beds, I accidentally put all my weight on the bottom corner after 4 months of using it, that in turn bent the corner leg, sins then I had been propping it up with a used up real of cat 5 network cable which has a stateless steel core. After 1 year & 6 months I noticed that the heavy duty cloth used was starting to pull away from where it had been stitched together.
