POWERFUL 2-in-1 AIR CONDITIONER & HEATER – Get year-round climate control with cooling, heating, drying and fan modes of this dual Air Conditioner and Heater. Engineered for energy efficiency, it produces more heat for less energy, delivers powerful cooling at a maximum airflow of 410 cubic meters per hour and dries the air as it cools. Suitable for rooms between 35-40m².
COST OF LIVING ENERGY SAVINGS – The energy-efficient MeacoCool has been awarded a Class A Energy Rating for low power consumption and optimised energy usage, and the R290 refrigerant is kinder to the environment, making it a cost-effective and efficient choice for daily use. It comes with a two-year parts and labour warranty from Meaco, the UK’s leading air cooling and dehumidifier manufacturer.
PORTABLE CONVENIENCE – Compact and easily moveable with castors to move from room to room, this unit comes with a free flexible window kit for use with all types of windows and doors. The convenient child lock prevents little fingers from changing the setting.
STAY IN CONTROL – Use the Meaco app to easily control the settings from your phone. The digital display on the front makes it easy to see the current temperature. Use the timer to pre-cool any room between 1 and 24 hours, allowing you to create a comfortable home without running the unit excessively and wasting electricity.
WHISPER QUIET -The MeacoCool Pro series is our quietest, most energy-efficient portable air conditioner range to-date. With a low noise level of 51-55 dB, this series gently cools without bothersome noise. A dedicated Sleep Mode makes the unit as quiet as possible and dims all lights on the display for a good night’s sleep and energy savings.

    Meaco mc12000
The unit came a day later but it’s very sturdy unit very heavy and noisy but cools the air brilliantly I think it will work really good once the hot weather is upon us.If you don’t like the weight and the Noise don’t buy but they are all the sameThis unit is definitely one of the best in its class

  2. S

good built, and handy in hot humid weather
noisy when cooler on , the compressor

  3. Jonathan Rees

Great AC with some frustrating design flaws.
Purchased this during the hot spell earlier in the year and it is a total game changer in terms of comfort, especially at night time.Even our larger room didn’t take too long to come down in temperature. The major flaw with this device (as pointed out by others) is the hose for getting the hot air outside. It’s a relatively stiff hose which comes with an adapter you have to attach yourself which connects it to the unit. The connection between the hose and the adapter is very poorly designed and it is extremely easy to knock off which results in the hot air being pumped into the room. The only other thing to point out is that it isn’t a quiet machine at all, even with the sleep mode it’s very noisy when the chiller kicks in.

  4. Janis Horley

    As described
Works well if a little noisy.

  5. Amazon Customer

    I absolutely love it !!!
This works so well and cools down my living room so quickly . You need to read the instructions carefully before you buy it so you know you can position it in the right place for the vent to go thro a nearby window .It is very heavy so you can’t move it up and downstairs but you can move it between rooms easily . When it’s hot outside, this unit is worth every penny. I’ve recommended it to all my family .

  6. Amazon Customer

    Really worth the money
Performance, excellent. Cools down my 30ft x 18ft room within 20 mins and can start feeling the difference in 5 mins.I’m disabled, with a heart condition and didn’t cope well in the heat last year, so said this year was going to be different, and it was.Worth every penny .

  7. mazza

Life saver during the heat wave
Noise level during day acceptable. At night once set temperature was reached it switches off but then as it needs to restart to keep temp level the noise is very noticeable so it wakes me up. Tip: cool the room before going to bed and swith off for the night.

  8. Road runner

    Good but very noisy.
MeacoCool MC Series Portable Air Conditioner 12000R. It was very well packaged and easy to remove from the packaging. After cutting all the sticky tape the box just lifted off the unit. Easy to understand instructions and easy to get up and running although I had to make my own seal for the window out of cardboard as I couldn’t figure out how to use the one provided for windows. If you have patio sliding doors it would be fine as there is a good kit for sealing that type of door. To quote my wife, “It’s good but flipping noisy”. That’s about it in a nutshell. We bought this just before a heat wave. I didn’t have time to research portable air conditioners properly. If I had done, I wouldn’t have bought it or any other make. The low decibel, 53dB is only when the fan is on low speed without the cooling compressor running. When the compressor comes on it’s flipping noisy. You can’t hold a conversation without raising your voices to a level that would be considered shouting and you need to turn your TV volume up a lot. The unit doesn’t recirculate the air in the room. It constantly replaces it with air drawn from anywhere it can suck it from. If you close all your windows and doors as per the instructions, it will suck air in through cracks in doors, windows and in my case from down the chimney which made our room smell of soot from when we had a coal fire. From then on I just left the room door slightly open so as not to suck air from down the chimney. Do yourself a favour, before you buy one put a search in, “How do portable air conditioners work?” and have a good read. At least you’ll know what your letting yourself in for. They all work in the same way. Having said all that, when it was 36C outside recently, I set it to 23C and it kept my lounge at 23C.
