Blocks the light, Very Comfortable
It’s very comfortable on the face, the adjustable elastic band allows a perfect fit. The nose clip really helps with blocking light from below. Hubby has been using it for a month and loves it, so bought another one for myself as it has been hard to sleep with the 4am sunrises in summer. Slept beautifully last night, it blocked the light out very effectively. I was worried I would be sweaty and hot under it as its so thick, but that didn’t happen. Overall, excellent.

Excellent Coverage and Good Value
I bought the Mavogel Cotton Sleep Eye Mask in order to mindfully listen to music. I had read that listening to music in complete darkness was a very calming experience so wanted an eye mask with full black out capability.This eye mask is very comfortable to wear, and generally has great coverage and worked very well!My only issue would be adjusting the clip over your nose can be challenging, and to create a perfect seal can sometimes leave the mask slightly uncomfortable, but I found with some simple adjustments that was easily resolved. Also, the mask is quite bulky, so may be uncomfortable to sleep in if youâre not used to it.In general, great value value for money and a good quality mask.

Cosy and good for sleeping soundly
If like me, you find yourself unable to sleep properly in a room even if it’s completely dark, this sleep mask is a must have. It’s very comfortable to wear, blocks out light very well and the adjustable strap on the back means that you almost barely feel the elastic.Even comes with a little pouch (of which I am not sure of the purpose) which is good for storing things like earplugs.Would definitely recommend!

Thanks, I’m really happy with this mask, it helps to keep things dark now that the day stars so early and light gets into my room despite the curtains. I find the cloth really soft and comfortable to wear and I like that it is cushioned, unlike others I have tried. The carrying handle and little case add well to the set up if you need to travel with it. The other thing that works well is the adjustable strap as others I have the elastic just stops working after a few years. So overall great design!

Generally good but a bit uncomfortable
Material is soft and comfortable to touch. The mask is able to block most light if placed correctly and is generally good. However, there are a few things that make it uncomfortable:1. The nose part is a bit uncomfortable and not as reliable as I’d like at blocking light. I think it has a metal wire inside that you can bend, but this adds a hard piece that presses on your nose, plus getting the wire shape correct is a bit of a faff and not reliable if you move around while you sleep.2. The seam around the mask is thick and a bit hard. This is mostly ok if you don’t sleep on your side. On the side it presses on your face.3. The part that connects to the bands could have been better. It has an extra triangular section where the bands connect to the mask. The seam there is again thicker, and it happens to press on my temples if I sleep on the side, which is not very good. I don’t sleep on my side all the time, but every now and then I would roll in my sleep and it’s noticeable enough that I can feel it.4. I feel the mask puts some pressure on the eyes. Not a lot, and the material is soft, but it does push on the eyelashes. My previous mask had a contour for the eyes, so maybe I’ve gotten used to the mask not touching the eyes. But it’s something to consider.

The best Iâve tried yet
Having read through the reviews for this sleep mask, I have to say Iâm really surprised by the negative experiences of some people. I first bought one of these a year ago and itâs been in constant use ever since. I work nights and even with blackout linings for our curtains, I still need a sleep mask to shut out all light when sleeping during the daylight hours.One year on, and Iâve bought another two identical masks, one for home and one for stowing in my motorhome. These are the reasons why:Once adjusted correctly, the mask shuts out 100% light. The mouldable stiffener in the nose ensures a good fit in this often poorly sealed areaThe elastic is broader than most sleep masks and does not go slack with use or over timeThe buckle used for adjustment has never been a cause for discomfort.The material used is soft and comfortableNow the negativeThe instructions state âhand wash onlyâ, yet go on to tell you not to immerse the product in water. Um . . .The material has suffered a little from pilling on the outside face. This doesn’t make it less comfortable to wear but it doesnât look as nice as when new.The photo is of my year old mask. Still in perfect working condition and I canât bear to throw it away but itâll be retired as a spare just in case. At under six quid for a year of decent sleep, I reckon itâs a bargain.Every product I review is one I have purchased myself.I rely on unbiased reviews when making shopping choices so thatâs exactly what youâll get from me.
