Basically good value.
I’m ex army. For me the product was great, comprehensive in a basic sort of way and acceptable. I was however concerned that there was no manual to explain the use of the contents No problems for me but an issue if God forbid my wife has to use it.

Overpriced, inconsistent quality, not all works
We haven’t tried everything in the kit yet but initial impressions are not positive.The box comes without instructions.The most useful items so far have been the knife and the paracord bracelet with the fire striker – that is the only thing that works with the firesteel, the striker that actually comes with the steel does not work, at all. The fire steel itself is also very inconsistent quality and only sparks in one part (haven’t even managed to start a fire yet – not from lack of trying!).The fancy (golden) compass sticks to such an extent that even the small plastic one on the paracord bracelet works better – I really would not trust it enough to rely on it.For what it is, I feel it is overpriced and poor quality.EDIT: The knife has a design flaw which makes it stick open constantly and the only way to get it to close again is to force a bit of the metal in the middle onto the correct side – not only is this hugely annoying but also dangerous. As this was the only thing nice about the set, I’ll be downgrading to one star.

This is a cheap plastic box filled with cheap items.. this is not a survival kit itâs a novelty. Knife and wire saw broke on first use and rest of kit is useless tat.. if your looking for reliable tools for camping, hiking e.c.t this is not for you
