Great item,works brilliantly.
I had a look at a lot of these before buying this one based on reviews, and I’m glad I got this one.I’ve had a couple of trips out using it,and it works as it’s meant to-is very stable, and easy to carry, and also cleans very well when used.I’ve cooked some noodles and mushrooms in billy cans on it,and used it to cook using a larger frying pan-with better results than my electric oven, really!.The slats of metal that go in the top mean you can rest very sizeable,or quite small camping cups on it,and it’s very stable.Goes together very easily, and folds away, and is put in its case very easily.A must have for bushcraft, either as your main firestove,or as a separate one for boiling water,or cooking next to your main fire. The heat from it with some decent wood is excellent, and the large space in the side makes it easy to top up wood.Be sure to have plenty, because it burns so well that you can get through ‘basic’ shop bought wood quite quickly.Absolutely love it,and easy for having ‘discreet’ fires, too…

Compact, Light, Sturdy and Does the Job
This is a very practical stove, which I use with a spirit burner. It’s easy to assemble and strong enough to support a kettle full of water etc. I can recommend it.

Good little stove
Very good little wood stove at a good price, much cheaper than others on the market and very well built and sturdy when slotted together. Got quite a substantial weight to it which could be good or bad, it’s definately sturdy. Pots fit on top very nicely and it works great at cooking things with a bunch of small sticks, seems like it could be used with fuel tablets but I have not tried that. You could probably try it with a meth burner although it is not really intended for that. I have used it a few times camping now and it worked well although the metal has warped but not much can be done about that and it doesn’t affect using the stove once it is slotted together. The only thing is that it does not come with anything to catch the ash so when using it I folded a few layers of tin foil under it to catch the ash which works nicely and I store that tinfoil in the stove pouch so I always have it.

Useful alternative to gas
If youâre travelling light, and are in reach of dry twigs, this is a useful and cheap alternative to a gas stove. Very easy to use and there are plenty of videos on You Tube if you need ideas.

Worthwhile & sturdy purchase!
This is a lovely sized stove (Lixada large S/S) that packs a punch! Used dry wood, shavings of resin rich kindling (fat wood) and one cotton make up pad that was split in half for greater surface area to catch a spark from my ferro rod. Once started, the well placed openings made for a good draw and left very little ash. I did make the mistake of initially using my pot from my gas stove kit and the rubber handles melted/fused open. Doh! Since it was a test run in the backgarden, I nipped in the get my 1.5 litre pot. It was quick to boils the half full pot of water for a hot chocolate and a marshmallow roast. Learned some good lessons, use the right gear for the job, the necessity of having fire starting kit ready (stored in waterproof container would be ideal) and that I need to practice aiming where the sparks land when using my ferro rod. Thankfully it was a relaxed atmosphere and there were no adverse conditions.

Perfect for what i need. Love it
I received my item today and i have to admit it fits together well its a good tight fit not loose and its fairly light.i don’t know how it will hold up after use but i guess i will find out soon on our camping trip in a few weeks. The only downside is the time consuming peeling of the backing film on the stainless pieces but after 20 minutes I’m happy and id buy again if it holds up to the heat

it works perfectly even with dampish sticks. great stuff!

This is an excellent addition to any backpackers kit. Stores extremely flat, takes up almost no room in your pack. The stove works well, really couldnât ask for more. Edges are a little sharp, but a dremmel fixed that no problem.

) innerhalb kürzester Zeit in Brand stecken.
