It’s quite small, very lightweight and easy to use. No, this will not cool down a room, and it is a bit of a faff as it needs topping up every 4-6 hours. But the fan on its own is pretty decent.Overall extremely happy with it. Keeps us all cool enough in this heat ð¥µð¥µ

Disappointing Performance: Cooler Fails to Cool Loft Room
I recently purchased a cooler with high hopes of effectively cooling the air in my loft room, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The coolerâs inability to deliver satisfactory results compelled me to return it.First and foremost, the cooler struggled to produce a noticeable drop in the roomâs temperature. Despite being advertised as a powerful cooling solution, it failed to combat the sweltering heat that tends to accumulate in attic spaces. Even after several hours of operation, the air remained uncomfortably warm, leaving me incredibly dissatisfied.Furthermore, the coolerâs design and functionality did not cater well to the specific demands of an attic room. The unit seemed ill-equipped to handle the unique challenges posed by the confined space and limited ventilation typically found in lofts. It failed to circulate the air effectively, resulting in uneven cooling and leaving certain areas untouched by its feeble airflow.The noise generated by the cooler was another downside. It emitted a constant, irritating hum that quickly became unbearable, making it impossible to find respite from the heat while enduring the accompanying noise pollution. This further contributed to my overall disappointment with the product.Given the coolerâs lackluster performance and its inability to address the specific cooling needs of a loft room, I had no choice but to return it. It fell far short of my expectations and proved to be an unsuitable solution for cooling air in this type of space.In conclusion, I would strongly advise against purchasing this particular cooler if you intend to use it in an attic or loft room. I was hoping for a more cooling effect
CONS: this air cooler isn’t powerful enough to cool a small room, I’m having to sit on top of it to feel a breeze which only comes out of one small panel on the front of the cooler which is disappointing and it’s too gentle, I can barely feel it on the highest setting. From “questions” I gather that the other panels suck in air? The two iceblocks haven’t made any difference to the cooling effect of the fan, but I’ve ordered some more in the hope they’ll make a difference.PROS: It’s a neat unit with clear instructions and easy to move around on the castors, the water tank is easy to fill, the remote works well and you can see what mode you’ve chosen on the LED screen on top of the unit. It’s also pretty quiet which is a plus.

Awful! No power to the fan
I purchased this due to the word “powerful” in the description, we had the unit 3 feet from us and didn’t feel the fan even though we had it on high and swing motion, it’s very poor. When you add the ice pack to the top there’s a very slight cooling effect for about a minute or two then it’s gone. We reverted to just our old fan which was a LOT cooler than this “cooling” unit. I realize we have a heatwave at the moment but we tried this “cooler” before it got super hot. It is also fiddly to bend down to take the pump out of its bracket to add and remove water to the unit and then put it back into the bracket. The Max and Minimum lines are VERY hard to see, also a pain to have to keep checking water levels as if it runs dry it can damage the pump. Save your money and invest in a good fan. I even purchased 14 hour cold ice packs but in the water they too defrosted and were lukewarm in no time. It simply doesn’t do what it says on the tin! Very disappointed.Seller advises to OPEN windows in order for this item to perform correctly??!! Odd as during hot weather we are advised to CLOSE windows and curtains to keep the room cool…Note from seller:Please ensure that you have tried the steps below, as it is critical that these steps are followed in order to get the AC effect and not just a fan effect with this item.1. Make sure that the water inserted into the water tray is cold water, and make sure the ice packs are frozen completely and inserted into the water tray (when this melts it is advised to freeze it again).2. Make sure the cooler is set to the highest wind speed along with the oscillating option.3. You must provide proper ventilation for facilitating airflow, this will counter the increase in humidity from the cooler. All doors and windows should be open and the air cooler should ideally be placed next to an open window
