    Very Bright good illumination area
This light is really bright that has a good illumination area, and has adjustable lighting levels. It does require three 3C cell batteries to operate. The light itself looks to be really well made and it’s very versatile. As with most lights of this type it is made a hard plastic. It has a carrying and hanging handle as well as a d-ring in the base so it can be hung upside down to provide a different lighting option.

I really like this little lamp. It is similar to the Varta one I bought years ago. It is solid, yet lightweight and the orange colour will hopefully make it easier to locate when it is dark. A little tip, to make it easy to locate at night, wrap parts of it in luminescent tape with a dot on the on/off button. This way you don’t have to go fumbling around for it if the lights go out in the middle of winter.I particularly like the yellow light option which makes it a lot kinder on the eyes. The white light really is quite glaring, but as it is so powerful it would be excellent in illuminating a dark room for whatever reason. The hook on the bottom can be useful for hanging it up, but if it is going to be placed on the ground, I would much prefer to add a hook to the main handle and hang it up that way to avoid my hands getting dirty. As this is similarly made (or more likely the same) to my Varta, I am certain it will last a very long time if properly cared for.

Super bright battery powered camping lantern!
This is a pretty heavy duty camping lantern. It’s a really nice orange and black colour and feels solid, well built and hard wearing. A good size too.It has a carry handle on the top and can be turned upside down and hung via the fixed carabiner hook. The light is super bright (at the highest setting of 1500 lm) and it has 4 different light modes, cool, warm, natural & flashing, which are selected by pressing the on/off button. It uses 3 size D batteries which aren’t included and not the kind of spare batteries you have as standard in your kitchen drawer. I managed to get some out of another device to try out.The batteries add a lot of weight to the torch, so it’s best to keep it upright as opposed to hanging. The benefits are that you don’t need to have an electric hook up to charge your lanterns and that it will work during an extended electricity blackout where you might be unable to charge anything. The down side is that batteries can be expensive to replace and disposal of them isn’t great for the environment. This torch will be a handy ‘emergency’ torch to keep in my airing cupboard, but I probably wouldn’t use it regularly, as I wouldn’t want to have to keep replacing the batteries.Overall a good solid torch if you’re happy to use batteries.

Great when it worked, but died after 14 month, and with no warranty
I was really pleased with this lamp and used it 3 or 4 times for camping over 14 months. Super bright. Turned it on this week and it did not work at all. Completely dead. Contacted the manufacturer and it apparently came with no warranty, so they have no interest in replacing / repairing. I would not recommend this product, simply because you would expect it to last longer that 14 months. If it dies after 30 days, the seller will not help in any way.

    Shines bright
This camping lantern as come in really handy lately I got this because my son needed one for when he went camping with duke of Edinburgh. When I tried this out before he went to make sure it will be worked, I found it to be really quite good. It has 4 brightness modes, I it has a hook on the base allowing him to hang this in his tent, and water resistant so ideal in all weather’s.This is powered by batteries only problem with this for me is it needs 3 size D batteries I would of much preferred AA ones or AAA ones. Saying that it does have long battery life it lasted all of his trip and still some life in it. This is easy to carry too with its handle. This is ideal for over night fishing, camping, hiking and more and it is also very sturdy. We have no issues what so ever with this.I highly recommend.

    Brilliant brightness
This camping lantern has a brilliant bright lamp. 1500lumens is the brightest this lantern will go and it really is bright. There are four modes, bright, warm, cool and flashing. The warm light is the most energy efficient and will last up to 40 hours with some good quality batteries. I haven’t tested the battery life on this light yet. The product requires 3x size D batteries, not included. The lantern is very lightweight, add the batteries and it does add some weight, but it still remains lightweight, for the power of the light, I think it is great. It is 15cm in height which makes it quite small and portable. There is a small hook at the bottom of the base unit which can be used to hang inside a tent. And there is a handle attached to the top for carrying. The base unit is very robust, the bottom twists off to insert the batteries. There is a silicone button to turn the light on/off and select the light mode. It is currently reduced to a great price which makes this a great, affordable camping lantern. Highly recommend.

A great value for money , simple to use and you get no complications.

    Versatile camping lamp
Fairly compact camping lamp with some good hanging features and light options.Looks good and gives a decent amount of light. As well as the main top hand hoop there’s a clever little hanging hoop with a clip for hanging from tent loops etc. This requires 3 D Cell batteries that aren’t included.Really handy at home too, can be used in the rare case of a black out or use in the garden.
