This is a well-made set, my son experienced no issues with leaking or other problems while using it over school break. However, I would guess that it would be too large for most children under 9 years old.

This mask works well.Has a nice field of view and the anti-fog works reasonably well.The strap and seal is super flexible and comfortable and provides a good water-tight seal.The strap is easily adjustable by just pressing the two buttons together to release the strap.It doesn’t look the highest quality mask (I’ve tried some more expensive ones recently and can certainly tell the difference) but it certainly does the job, like other Lealinga-branded sets I’ve tried recently too and for the target market for this one (6-14 year old girls) is it more than enough in terms of quality.The fact it has a dry top snorkel vale is a real bonus at this price too.For the current price (less than £19) you can’t go wrong really – recommended from me.5 stars.

Surprised that it’s as good as it appears.Ordered in advance of a holiday so haven’t been able to properly try it.Compared to the rubbish we bought on holiday last year, it’s night and day.I’ve thrown away last year’s as this is clearly of a higher standard.Both my kids, 6 and 8, have tried it on and it fits and seems comfortable.I’m confident this should be good for a few years without the niggles that come with cheaper alternatives.

Great snorkel set for kids
I’ve always been a bit of a water enthusiast, but I was hesitant to get my son involved in snorkeling. However, this snorkel set is a terrific way to introduce children to the wonders of the underwater world. The wide-view mask is a big improvement over the narrow goggles I used as a child, and the anti-fog coating means my son gets a fantastic view of marine life instead of staring at a fogged-up mask. I highly appreciate the dry top on the snorkel, which helps my son get the hang of breathing without accidentally inhaling a mouthful of water. An excellent set all around.

Good Mask & Snorkel Set
This appears to be a good mask and snorkel set for children, to be used at the beach or the reef.The age range specified is 6 – 14 years.I have a 6 year old, and it appears to be marginally too large at the moment.It does go on, but the base of the mask tends to almost overlap the mouth (which would break the seal).I think it should fit better in a few months, but not necessarily in time for this summer holidays !!The materials appear to be good quality and fit for the purpose. The silicone is soft. The plastic joins appear waterproof.The mask strap tension is adjustable as it should be. The nose is pinchable, so as to be able to equalise your ears if free-diving.The snorkel has a float valve at the top, so appears to be of a type which automatically closes if you try to breathe in water.The lower part of the snorkel has a blow-out valve so you can (rapidly) get rid of excess water which finds its way inside.It also comes with a useful storage bag, and a good set of instructions.Why 4 Stars? Well, I think the listed lower age range of 6 years old may be inaccurately too low. Maybe 7 years old should be the minimum. The facemask is too large for my child’s face, and the snorkel appears to be a full adult-size snorkel. The snorkel is larger and longer than my own personal adult snorkel. It just has a slightly smaller mouth-piece. The long length may make the snorkel more likely to tip over in the water, rather than face upwards. Also the valve at the top which prevents water entry is not 100% effective… There is an obvious air-leak at this valve, which I suspect will leak water (a small amount) when the snorkel goes underwater. I will confirm this at the next bath, and will feedback here if this is wrong.
