    Positively surprised! Nicely fitted!
Strap in, it’s a long one!I’m a UK 18 normally, with thick, thick thighs. I always struggle to get shorts to fit and be loose enough to not cut off circulation to my legs, while the waistband not too loose or splitting me in half.I had little hope, if I’m honest. In the last four years, I’ve only ever found one other pair – but that’s all changed!!These fit almost PERFECTLY!These are stretchy, reasonably high waisted, and not so short everything hangs out! The thighs are loose, but nicely fitting, with minimal roll-up when sat down. The slight slit on the outside works as they’re supposed to, but they don’t end up rouched weirdy, or embedded in your skin as most other do! They barely even fold on themselves, which is a bonus. The only issue with the ‘legs’ – the distress. While the rest of them have patches behind the distress, the big right one over the pocket does not. Clearly the thought behind it is that the pocket will act as the patch; it works in theory but not always in practice. All you’d be able to see (mainly sat down when they roll slightly) would be underwear, so not entirely indecent. I’ll throw a stitch to keep the pocket there and it’ll be grand. They’re long enough to not rub too badly (chafing gel is always a must!!), and they’re super comfy, even when sitting hunched over. The waistband doesn’t feel like it’s gonna slice you in half, but it also doesn’t feel like they’re gonna fall down at any moment. When sitting, there is a slight gape at the back, but is actually easily fixed by sitting straighter! Bonus for my posture, I guess. They feel quite well made, and not just cheap, thin fabric that you usually get! As they’re all-over stretchy, they keep everything where they’re supposed to be, and you can still fill the pockets! They’re also surprisingly generous, and easily fit an outstretched adult hand in the front pockets, and an almost fully-spread one in the backs.

    Five star shorts
These shorts are amazing, such soft stretchy material . The Denim is nice and thin for hot weather and fit perfectly. I am a size 14 and ordered 12 to 14 . Would recommend

Amazing quality but a bit tight
I’m usually a 12-14 so I got a 16-18 in these and they fit but are a bit too tight if I sit down. I think I might order a size up but really really good shorts! Better than the ones in Primark at the minute 🙄

Expensive for ultra lightweight, basic shorts.
In order to get a good idea of performance vs value, I always compare non-branded, Chinese made clothing items (such as these) with the equivilent high street brands such as Primark and in this case, the latter wins hands-down. The Kissmoda’s are a very lightweight cotton/polyester mix “denim”, a little to thin for my liking (although some may prefer this), reasonably well made and reasonably good looking when on, although I doubt they will be able to stand up against time! Size wise, they come up small (size S was too tight around the rear for our size 10 daughter), but at a whisker under £25, for the quality, they come in at about twice the price of their high street competitors and for that reason alone, it’s hard to recommend them.

    Really soft and comfortable
Usually a size 12 in shorts and these fit perfectly. Really comfy around the waist too with a little wiggle room

Finally get a chance to wear these
Not the sort of thing to just pop on around the house, for me at least, but now the weather is turning I finally got a chance to wear these. They fit pretty well, obviously they are short and high up the thigh, they are also high waisted as advertised so it can seem like you’re wearing them too high perhaps at times. The style is “ripped” but they do seem to be held together, a few times through the wash might put that to the test. Actual pockets which is always a bonus these days. Not bad, but I think a bit pricey at £24.99 for less than a third of a pair of jeans.

    High waisted denim shorts
I’m a bigger lady, and generally struggle to find short shorts that flatter me. These manage to do that, without them being too short, too revealing or even too tight. They’re comfortable.

    XL fits UK 16
I was really hoping these would actually fit properly. Often larger size clothing purchased online has zero bottom, good for pancakes, but not so much for larger sizes. In this case the bottom was absolutely fine, fits nicely around a bigger derriere.I docked -1 star for the design, I didn’t feel like the photos accurately show the front style clearly. They have cut away the top that sits above the buttons. In the photos it looks neat & like a cute design feature, in real life it just looks like you’ve hacked with a pair of scissors at an old pair of jeans & for some reason cut away the fabric that covers buttons on a pair of jeans. It looks pretty tacky to my mind, but I’m sure some people will really like the casual hacked look.
