Great for use in the swimming pool
Nice construction good sole soft netting l like the 2 x bars that secures them to my feet – looking forward to using them thanks

Good shoe, a little on the large side.
These are a good pair of water shoes, although I also tend to use this type of shoe as camp shoes when I’m backpacking. They aren’t the usual style of water shoe that I’m used to as they have two Velcro straps across the foot to secure them in place, usually this style of shoe is a slip on type. This means that they don’t come up to the front of the ankle but are a little more low cut. I find some Velcro can be a bit loose but the Velcro used on these shoes is extremely effective and holds the straps in place very well, they won’t budge or loosen when being worn at all in my opinion.I’m impressed with the sole as it feels quite sturdy and has a good design to aid the gripping quality of the shoes. I’d have confidence in these soles resisting puncture and softening the impact from walking on bare rock, such as at the beach. The upper material has an nice subtle pattern on which I quite like and they feel reasonably light in weight. My only criticism is in the sizing. As I’m a size 11 (UK) shoe I ordered the 11-11.5 and have found them to be a little too big. For using as a camp shoe, or other activities where socks are being worn, they should be fine but I’d bear that in mind if you are intending to wear these bare foot.

    Sizing chart is wrong.
I am a size UK6.5. The size chart says UK6.5-7 /EU38-39, which is strange as a UK6.5 is usually EU 40. I ordered the UK6.5-7, and it’s small. It’s obviously true to the EU size, not the stated UK size.

    Comfortable
Well made ang look nicer than basic swim shoes

  5. Jasmin

    Order a size up
Very small sizing, quite the opposite of barefoot

  6. Clear View

    Lightweight non slip beach shoes
The water shoes are functional and come with Velcro straps so you can adjust the width rather than the pull-on types that are more common. They are lightweight and flexible so easy to carry and don’t take up much room in your bag. The soles are quite thin so more useful for short walks on the beach or around the pool.

  7. Customer Review

Quite wide. Strap is a bit too long so catches on the floor…
I got these specifically for wearing on the beach, and I have wide feet due to being barefoot a lot – I never wear heels. They are a good idea, but they aren’t quite right, I put them on, the velcro straps are too long for me, so they touch the floor (overhang) by nearly a centimetre, my feet are not narrow or thin so they have made them too long, I made sure they were comfortably tight, and even then I can still slip my feet out easily (imagine your foot is caught by a wave, it will just take the shoe away with it – like so often happens when you don’t wear bikini bottoms tight enough!) I like how the inner sole can be lifted up so it dries more quickly, yet it is still attached at the toe end and can’t be lost, clever. The sole is quite thin, so you still feel pebbles, just not so painfully! They are lightweight, which is good for not adding weight to your holiday suitcase. To use these indoors, for yoga etc, they are okay, except the excess strap scraping the ground, I don’t see a way round that.£16 at the time of this review.

Nice, but size seems wrong for what I ordered
I am a size 5 and ordered UK 5 – 5.5, which would be size 38 at least, normally. But a sticker says they are 36 – 37, and they are quite small on me. It does not matter hugely, as they are stretchy, soft and still comfortable (at least to try on with socks), but my toes come right to front. So also suggest ordering a size up. Width is fine and the straps give some adjustability for width, if your feet swell or are wide. I had no problems with the straps being too long, although they are on longer side.Insoles are padded, but not removable, they are fixed at one point right at the toe, which means they will take longer to dry at the front. But you cannot loose them that way.Overall, they seem fine, are well made and should be reasonably non-slip, although the profiling on the sole is not very deep. Was wavering between 4 and 5 stars, but they should sort out the sizing. This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion and I only review items I would buy.
