   Loud but worth it
   It’s loud. I have to turn up the volume for other things to compensate when it’s in by a few notches. It does however, work to cool the room really quick and so I love it, as my summer saviour. Totally worth it, made life livable.

   Its not as quiet as others but much better value.
   It makes a fairly large room nice and cold fairly quickly. Very happy we have it.Just a note: It is heavy and fairly large as one would expect a 12000BTU to be.

   get what you pay for
   I placed my order on Wednesday was told order would arrive on Friday, it arrived Thursday, this was not an issue. I read through the manual and set up my portable ac. theses portable AC’s have a safety feature to not let the compressor turn on again for 3 minutes after its been turned off to stop it from overheating, supposedly this is normal and called cycling. its supposed to turn off the compressor every 20-15 mins but mine was turning off every 50 seconds this is known as short cycling when it turns off under 10 minutes.I decided to contact the seller, who got back in contact with me rather quick, I explained that my machine was acting strange and asked if I had done anything wrong or misunderstood. They told me that it sounds like I have a faulty machine and asked me if I want it replaced.they scheduled someone to come and pick it up and all went smoothly, I was given a tracking number and this made it easier to see when it was to be picked up, more helpful than the original could be 9am-9pm.after it had been picked up I sent a message asking for the replacement to be sent, quite a bit of back to back messages with me asking if I am to miss the delivery… where he would leave it if I wasn’t in… they kept ending messages with things like “hoping to hear from you soon” “waiting for your response” etc until they didn’tI thought we had discussed everything and it was on its way until I messaged to ask for an update and was told the replacement hadn’t been dispatched and they where waiting for my response. I was unaware they where waiting for a reply as I figured we had discussed all that was needed.the replacement has arrived and I now I can see the difference in how it runs I could see that the first unit was defiantly faulty. 1 example, there is a spinning circle on the inside and before it used to wobble a lot when spinning, the replacement doesn’t wobble at all it spins perfectly.On to the Pros/ConsPros.good for its money. definitely cools the room down.nice built in handles to carry it.comes with a controller.good wheels to make it roll easilyCons. the hose isn’t exactly long enough you need to have the perfect place in the house where you have a window right next to a socket (suggests you don’t use extension leads and also tells you not to use a different vent hose)it comes with a window seal for American style windows.all “sleep mode” does it turn the fan down to speed 1 witch you could do by simply pressing the fan button, noise is still the same regardless.dehumidifier mode is also the same, from what I can gather, if you run an ac with fan speed 1 it will shoot out colder because it has more time to go through the machine. this in turn makes to room get dehumidified far more efficiently than if it was on fan speed 3. if you want the room cooled down fast simply set target temp to 16 and blast it on full fan if you want it dehumidified put it on fan speed 1 with temp set to 16 (or you can put it in dehumidifier mode and it will simply limit it to fan speed 1 id guess about 17 degrees.(put simply dehumidifier mode and sleep are the same thing all they do is turn the fan down to speed 1).when draining the water out of the machine from it collecting from dehumidifying you have to tilt the machine to get all the water out. I believe the tap is slightly to high very silly design.chances are if you are reading my reviews you have also read other peoples. yes it is a noisy machine. I personally don’t mind the noise however it is loud enough that even outside my room with the door closed people can hear it in there rooms so it can bothers others.the machine has its own settings to the controller, so if you press on, on the unit itself it will have different settings to what you had when turning it on with the controller (not necessarily a con as you could have 2 different settings ready to go if you wanted)when turning on/turning off the machine in cool mode or dehumidify mode the entire machine makes a very large shake. as I am limited to where I can plug mine in I have it on a some draws that are barely wider than the unit, and as the wheels are so good are moving the unit I’m worried that one day when I turn it on the shake it provides will make it fall off, would have been nice if I could lock the wheels in place but hey hocustomer support 7.5/10ac unit 6.5/10stuff that comes with the ac unit hose/vent kit 3/10

   Much too loud, sadly…
   The product works and will cool a medium sized room quite quickly.But- and this is a real issue – it is, by far, the loudest air conditioner I have owned (and we’ve had 5 over the last 15 years or so). At some points, and it seems almost random, the unit seems to have the volume of a jet at takeoff. It’s not just the usual increase in noise associated with the switching-on of the pump. This is just so loud I can’t believe it!The remote is bizarre- it (the remote) seems to need switching on before it works…A good cooler, but hard to use in any domestic setting.

   Looks nice but not sure it’s any better than the lower version.
   Blows out cool air but really struggled to make any real difference unless you are right next to it in the flow of air.It’s not even that hot yet and it’s struggling. I do wonder if I have a faulty unit.

   Air con critics confusing everyone.
   So reading reviews of air con units was a headache.People saying it’s to loud.Doesnt cool my room.Has a hose bla bla.Was a hard choice as its alot of money.But I took the plunge I got the 12k version.read up on it, measure your room! I went slightly larger so if it was needed, I could make it even cooler and not always run at max.Yes you can hear it it’s not silent. Every aircon unit seems to be running at the same DB except the versions that attach outside.Yes it weights abit but the weight is on it so dont understand why people comment its heavy. It’s easily portable some people may struggle.Yes you need a window open but the window covers they work fine.My flat gets hot unbearably hot.If the noise is more annoying than being uncomfortable hot you dont need air conFor me I’m so happy it cools the flat no bugs or mosquitos come in as I got the window seal attachment.So far its decent I tried it on max and the lowest level to see what it could do. Was rather chilly had to turn it off.I didnt rate the noise level or value for money or sleep mode as this is my first ac unit I’ve ever owned so no comparison.Measure the width, length, height of your room to work out M².Summary;It’s cool. You can hear it. I’m comfortable and not sticky.No bugs from having window open….Winning.

   5* price and unit
   Excellent unit for the money 12 BTU plenty of power & cooling.. a lot smaller / compact than my older machine.Little noisey but TBH as it’s not in my bedroom it’s not a problem..Only one minor criticism is the exhaust pipe is a little small but the AC unit itself perfect

   Only good for a very small room
   It does blow cold air, but it’s nothing compared to my previous unit which was cheaper and smaller.Rather disappointing as just having a breeze through the house does a far better Job.
