    Good Product
Have used a couple of times before the weather turned cooler, but impressive so far. Much quieter than my old unit, which died on me. Looks smarter than most other air conditioners. The hose is long enough to reach through my window, which is quite high up. It does what it’s supposed to do and cools the room quickly so I am more than happy.

    Not particularly quiet
Nice unit and a godsend during the heatwave earlier in the summer. It’s not 9verlybquiet though and is quite intrusive. Not as efficient as I’d hoped but maybe that was my expectations being too high.Very versatile with heating, cooling, fan only and dehumidifier functions.Exhaust vent hose could be longer as can’t reach the windows in my office (which are just below the ceiling and around 12″ deep).

    best purchase ever
I had bought this for my kitchen as I decorate cakes. I have found that recently my cakes would be sticky with humidity and used this this week and had emptied at least a cups worth of liquid. The cakes have been dry and my kitchen nice and cool while I work. the only downside is is the hose is to short to reach my kitchen window so have to put it out the back door, which I then taped up with a bag to cover the large gap as the panel that is supplied isn’t sufficient. I wouldn’t have been able to use the panel in the window anyway as its for sliding windows, which mine is a push out frame. As for the noise level, yes its sort of loud but with kitchen door closed, it cant be heard in rest of rooms. Its what I would expect from a decent bit of kit to be honest. Working in an industrial kitchen I find the noise level pretty much on par with my kitchen extraction to be honest.

Does the job, but too noisy to sleep with it going
Absolutely does the job and can cool down an average size room pretty quickly, however it is very noisy even on sleep mode so, not sure how sleep mode really helps as you wouldn’t be able to sleep with it going – unless you wore earplugs!

    Very impressive so far
This arrived very quickly within a day of ordering. I have Amazon Prime so that may account for it but the company kept me informed on my mobile, three times, to say where it was. Very professional. The driver carried it in to the house for me too which was very helpful as it is heavy. An attractive, neat, unobtrusive machine. Easy to set up and use. The only “grump” I have is that the hose is short, another metre or even half a metre would be better. You need to be near a window or some other outlet to expel the warm air. Also very quiet. My house was 29C to 30C last week so I have much need of this!So far, very pleased and would recommend.STOP PRESS: I bought another of these for upstairs. Very good service from this company, especially with regard to replacing the 2nd one I bought which had a fault. The replacement for that came the next day and they arranged for the faulty unit to be picked up from my house which it has been. A friend of mine who helped me set it up described it perfectly, his words, not mine: “that’s a nice bit of kit”!

    Hmmmm great Aircon but….
I bought this aircon 11 months ago and registered for the 2 year warranty when purchased and received email thanking me for registering. However, I now find 11 months in and I’ve not used it since last summer that the power button on the machine is no longer working.I’ve gone online to see if I can get it fixed under warranty however Igenix site no longer recognises my email address for the registered warranty. When I return to the email and click on any links it sends me to a dormant web page. So how do I get it fixed ?

    Does the job
I bought this to cool a 9m2 room. It did fine during the second heatwave this year. It could probably comfortable cool a room up to 15m2.Pro’s–cheap-smallish-remoteCons–loud – the condenser will switch off when the target temp is achieved, and then periodically turn on. This on and off period is quiet loud. But I was able to remain asleep- might be an issue for light sleepers.-no temp indicator on the remote.- I haven’t been able to get the ‘Smart’ features such as wifi connectivity and Alexa to work. In the end I gave up, I bought it to cool my room not speak to Alexa!

Great unit for the hot weather
This unit was great. It managed to bring down a 7mx6m room to comfortably when the outside temp was 38degC. Easy controls.. is a bit too noisy for me as I’m a light sleeper.Only downside is the exhaust vent connection is a bit cumbersome and need taping up to prevent it from coming out. The window attachment is for sliding windows not swing opening. …Still worth the money
