Faulty but made it work
This is the second hose I purchased from Amazon. The first one wouldnât connect to the tap. I got a tap connector piece to fix it but it still didnât work, so I purchased this hose. This hose has a connector piece that connected to my tap but it had the flimiest connection to the hose a kitten could remove the hose from the tap. I was shocked, needless to say it didnât work but I did buy the connector piece to try and salvage the previous hose and lucky for me it connected to this hose perfectly, no leaking from tap to hose and I can use the hose fine. HOWEVER the shower head is not the best which is essentially why I have given the 3 stars. This could have been 4 stars if the shower head action was decent. Out of the 7 functions 3 are useless because they spray 50% water backwards. And the functions that do work you still have to be careful changing the shower setting as it leaks and sprays in every direction. You canât turn the water pressure up too much as then there is really no difference between the settings. In theory a 50 ft hose like this and a good spray action is a nice deal for £17, but the attachments provided for this hose are pretty flimsy, 3 stars might be a bit generous. I would have had to return it but I was able to make use of the tap connector I purchased from a gardening website and I can change the spray head for the previous hoseâs sprayer so three stars because I can still use it.
