Best Air conditioner
Itâs been 5 days since I have been using this air con and have to say this is really a best thing I have bought and was much needed in this scorching heat. This air con even works like a dehumidifier which is amazing and helps dry laundry too. Not much noisy and easy to move around with castors. I prefer to control this from mobile application which is amazing

NOISY! Awful! Don’t buy!!!
Noisy! Too noisy! Works sometimes. Doesn’t adequately cool! Too heavy to move! Short cord! THE WORST! Do not buy!

Great air con
This unit is very good, the noise level is really quiet for an air conditioner. The hose length fits perfect for my windows and itâs super easy to move around with the castors.

Reliable
Cools the room in minutes. Worth investing for UK summer weather.

It definitely cools down the room
I bought this for my garden office shed and it definitely cools down the room from high 20s to low 20s during warm weather making it comfortable to work. No seal necessary. During the July heatwave, I moved it into my flat’s living room with the same results. It works better at dusk, and during the night it cooled my entire flat of about 80 sqms to mid 20s.Portable ac are ideal for periods of high temperatures. I would not recommend it for bedrooms as it is noisy (this is why I gave it 4 stars), or as a long term solution (split unit is better for both).Make sure that you have a suitable place for it (socket and window/door) as only has 1.5m extension. Honeywell is a top brand but if I had the money I would have bought Delonghi (Honeywell~£450, Delonghi~£800).

UK Buyer Beware
The air conditioner itself works well – when it works. Cools a bedroom and living room adequately.Unfortunately the product didn’t last a full season of use, after 9 months the blower fan stopped working entirely despite maintaining the unit as per the manufacturerâs instructions.Trying to get any form of support from the manufacturer under warranty is non existent, they don’t appear to have any UK entity; with the manufacturer representative being based in the Netherlands, who don’t respond to any correspondence.Whilst Honeywell is a big brand, there seems to little to no UK customer support.

Probably not worth the money
Bought the unit on June 22nd right towards the end of the hot weather we had in June. July weather was abysmal and only started to have some hotter weather in August in the last week. So I havenât had a lot of opportunities to test it.But considering how expensive it was, it has been a disappointment. Especially considering I have bought Honeywell products before and they have been great. In June and this last week I have switched on the Air Con and set the temp to 16C. Most of the time it can barely get the room temp down to 21C, occasionally it hits 20C, but never any lower. For the cost, that is poor. Especially as I have an old ARLEC unit in the bedroom above, same sized rooms, and when it is set to 16C it can get the temp down to 18C and it was half the price. So I have been surprised that a Honeywell unit that was so expensive does not perform better. Also the hose is far too short. Only just reaches the window.I thought maybe itâs faulty and have tried to contact various people, with no response.I was surprised to find that Honeywell do not exist in the UK. Contacted them and got a response from their US operation advising that JMATEK manufacture this unit and do the support. Contacted them July 24th, no response. Then contacted the company AIRCONCENTRE July 25th, who sold me this unit via Amazon and no response from them either. So after sales help, service, support has been appalling. Have I got a unit that is faulty or is this the best I can expect from it. I do not know.
