Holts Tyreweld 500ml – Large Vehicles

Peace of mind in your boot

A flat tyre can really ruin your day. Standing at the side of the road, trying to undo the wheel nuts, getting cold and wet, trying to avoid the passing traffic – it’s difficult, time consuming and potentially dangerous.

Holts decided there should be a simpler, quicker, safer way.

Safe and easy to use

Tyreweld is easy to use, thanks to our unique twist and go mechanism. Just attach it to the tyre valve then watch as it refills the tyre. Tyreweld works in minutes, letting you move safely away from the passing traffic.

Doesn’t damage tyres

Tyreweld is made from a non-toxic water based foam so can be washed out of tyres easily after use, without causing damage.

For large vehicles with tyre diameter 17 and over Quick and easy emergency puncture repair No tools or jack needed Safe non-toxic formula doesn’t damage tyres Washes out of tyres easily after use

Available in 3 sizes 300ml 400ml 500ml Suitable for cars, vans, motorbikes and more

Always choose the correct size.

Not suitable for use with run-flat tyres.

Temporary repair – your tyre should be checked by a mechanic for permanent repair.

How it works

Tyreweld contains a water-based foam which acts as a car tyre sealant. First it re-inflates the tyre, and then when you drive the foam finds the puncture and seals it so you can drive to a garage for a full repair.

How to use Tyreweld

Just attach Tyreweld to the tyre valve then watch as it quickly refills the tyre. You should then drive straight away to let them foam seal the puncture. The puncture will then need to be repaired permanently, and we’d recommend visiting a garage as they’ll check to make sure the tyre’s safe, legal and roadworthy.

Excellent product, well worth the money
I used the product recently when I had a flat tyre, it was so easy to use and I was back on the road in no time. I highly recommend this product and think everybody should carry one in their car boot for an emergency, you won’t regret it,

  2. Raich

It works well in an emergency!
I got a puncture in a place that was not ideal to be stopped in waiting for a breakdown vehicle. I was attempting to limp the few miles home or find a safer place to stop when a car stopped in front of me and a lovely woman got out with a can of this in her hand. Like an angel sent from above, she filled my tyre with it and went on her way, leaving me able to drive home safely. It held out long enough to go a few miles even though it was a large sidewall puncture. I was able to arrange a new tyre and called the breakdown service the following day, whereby they towed my car there for it to be fitted, making the entire episode pretty painless (aside from the cost of the new tyre!).I promptly bought a can to keep in my car in the hope that it will come in handy, either the next time I get a puncture or so I can pay the kindness forward and help someone else out who finds themselves in a similar situation.

  3. Mr. J. Rubin

    Looks good hope it works
Haven’t used this yet and hopefully won’t need to but it should do the job if the need be

  4. K. Peacock

    Good value
We bought this for travelling abroad as an emergency back up. It came in good time, instructions are well writing, and it doesn’t take up much space in the car. Not sure how durable it will be or how good it will perform as we hopefully won’t need to use it. Handy to have incase of emergencies.

  5. Richard Hustwit

    Brilliant!
We’ve had a slow puncture on a tyre and were pumping air in about once a fortnight. Bought this, used it when the low pressure sensor came on and it filled the tyre with a white foam and since it’s not set the sensor off once (that was over a month ago). Job done. Very happy with the purchase.Note: just check the size of your tyre first as there are different size cans for different wheels.

  6. Luke

    Works great on motorcycle tyre.
Had a big puncture on rear tyre on way to work. Tyre went flat, could feel air blasting out when trying to fill it at petrol station.Got it to a friend’s house. Used this product as instructed, removing the metal shrapnel from the puncture first. Rode my bike 18 miles to local garage to get a new tyre. Checked tyre along route and stayed the same pressure throughout. Gives enough pressure for a safe ride, still be careful in the corners though as pressure probably 15 – 20psi.10/10 definitely recommend.

  7. Rob Lane

    Didn’t work
Won’t work on half centimeter hole

  8. porkchop

    Check the listing
Check the tin as i used mine as wasnt for my car tyre size so repurchased new tins for the car but works well till yiu get new tyre on

  9. Peter

Like a fire extinguisher I will use it only in emergency so cannot tell if it is going to be any good. I hope so! Will be able to report more after use.

  10. FlatWhiteWithTwo

I purchased an Daxys Bandicoot Electric Scooter and within weeks the front tire went flat and their customer support advised a NEW tire was the answer, and best part – they’re out of stock… I Googled and found “SLIME Bike Tube PRO Sealant Tyre Tire Puncture Repair Solution 8oz ” and purchased that. It worked initially, and then started leaking the green slime (it doesn’t set at all). So I put more in, and it stopped leaking again and was fine for 2 weeks. Then it started gushing green slim and went flat. DON’T BUY the SLIME product – waste of money. My Dad had leaking engine coolant on his car a while back and we fixed that with Holts, so I thought maybe a car product would be worth a try (same valve type). So I bought this! The Holts product is completely different – it’s a foam vs sludge. It comes in a pressurized can vs squeeze bottle. You don’t need to remove the valve first (which you do with SLIME).IT WORKED! So if you have a scooter (or bike I’d imagine) and have a dead wheel, try this. Has saved me being without my scooter, and so far it doesn’t look like the tire will need replacing until the tread is gone.Brilliant product, super easy to recommend. You don’t need the whole can for a small scooter wheel, so you can re-use it again later. One can will do a couple of scooter wheels, so put some tape on the top to remind me not to twist it until needed!
