Not crease proof
I have bought a number of shirts with polyester in them from M & S over the years to take on holiday, as they are easy to pack and the creases fall out of them after a day hanging in a wardrobe. Saw these had polyester in them, and as they are considerably cheaper than the M & S ones thought I would give it a go. First off it arrived tightly packed, when opened it was considerably creased so gave it a wash and hung it up to dry. Well, not a single crease dropped out, and if anything washing the shirt actually put more creases in it. So I had to iron it which defeated the object of the exercise, but to be fair the creases easily came out. It is also unusual by the fact that the inside of the shirt was white, in the picture illustration it looks like it has the same pattern inside and out, but when opened, apart from the collar and very top of the shirt it is white. Size wise it was about right, which is not always the case with shirts made in China, as they tend to be on the small side. I have yet to wear it other than trying it on for size, so canât comment of whether or not it is durable. I have a holiday coming up in June, which is why I bought it, and that will be the true test as to whether it is any good or not.Update. Just staying hung up in the wardrobe produced more creasing as I discovered when I decided to wear it on a night out. The material is very flimsy as well, you hardly know your wearing it, which for very hot climes is good, but for me it just smacks at cheapness. Would I buy another one? Certainly not I’m afraid, the old adage applies here, you get what you pay for, much better to buy a nice looking collared smart casual/golf shirt for around the same price, better quality and far better value.
