The EMtronics EMAC9KW 9,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner will keep you cool for hours with its powerful cooling technology and many user comfort features. The Digital display allows you to choose the mode you want and check the performance of the item, choose from three fan speeds (HIGH / MID / LOW) and three different operation modes (Cool / Dehumdifier / Auto) for ultimate comfort. Sit back and use the remote control to change your settings, you can change the timer, speed, temperature, mode and also activate Sleep mode if you are ready for bed. The fabric window vent kit is included to ensure the hot exhaust air escape the room to make the Air Con perform better. The Sealing kit also stops unwanted hot air entering your room from outside, creating the perfect atmosphere. Being portable is a great feature on this EMtronics unit, It’s easy to move with the 4 large wheels attached to the bottom, allowing you to move it from room to room. The Unit is also equipped with a 1.8M power cord and 1.5M exhaust hose to allow you to position the Air Conditioner where you wish.

Impressive! Very nice
I took a gamble on this because when I ordered there were no reviews, however; first impressions are that it works as expected, and when I turned it on, the relief washes over me in an awesome wave. It gets very cool!It looks very professional, with a subtle off-white colouring and tasteful thickness of the unit.Struggling against all odds to relax in the current heat, but with this air conditioning cooling In the air tonight, it feels beyond sufficient.All round, a great, great product. Only downside is that I can assure you, it certainly wasn’t cheap.

Super cheap and works well
I have several unbranded/cheap portab;e AC units. This can with remote, pipes and a window kit. It works well, is quite a nice compact size. The compressor is quiet, and was wonderful during the summer. If you cant afford a brand, then it will be worth looking at this. For extra piece of mind, i purchased the 3 year warranty extension at checkout, which was cheap too!

Product all in all is very good, doesnât take long at all to cool down a room! Just the fan setting blows very cold air without using the air cooling setting.Only little complaint would be that the discharge hose hasnât got the best figment into the parts sent therefore Iâd recommend once set up not to move the unit else you find that the pipe pops off from the back

Not too noisy
Easy to setup and use, not that noisy – it’s an air conditioner unit so it will make a noise, but on low it’s similar to a big fan on full speed. My only complaint is the length of the exhaust pipe (but all the A/C units seem to come with short pipes) – I’ve had to put it on top of a chest of drawers in order to reach the window to vent the unit properly. Unusually, it comes with nylon fabric shields & velcro tape so that you can seal the opening around the open window and this seems to work pretty well. I bought a similar one last year and this one was £100 cheaper (but looks the same & has the same remote, just a different brand name and didn’t have the nylon seals) so really happy with our purchase

It works
Great ACU It kept me nice & cool during our last spell of hot weather. I didn’t use the venting window kit, just hung the hose out of the window I’m lucky enough to have a low window, the vent hose could be a little longer but you can easily get the length you require on line. I have only used the AC facility, so can’t comment on the dehumidifier.

Best purchase EVER!
Love this unit, we brought it to cool down the bedroom in the evenings but Iâve been wheeling it into my home office during the day and itâs been brilliant. Weâve tried air coolers but theyâre not great so we decided to to spend a little more and get this which works perfectly.Set up took minutes, the remote is great for being able to control it without getting out the bed and itâs meant weâve slept like babies through this heatwave, couldnât recommend it more!
