Easy to use, accurate, and very robust
This tire pressure reader could survive a combat zone. Solid rubber surround guaranteed to protect it from accidental drops. Just don’t drive over it – although chances are it will probably survive it. Using it is a piece of cake. Just attach to tire nozzle and you get your reading. If you need to let some air out the tire there’s a release valve you can open for that purpose. Its very good.

I have been driving for 65 years and checking tyre pressures has always been a problem,which I had not solved until I bought this gauge.It is sturdy heavy duty and well made.It is flexible enough to get to the valve and get a reading without losing 10i psi of air each time.It is clear to read,and holds the reading for a decent time.It has a release valve which I found a bit too effective,so go carefully thereOne downside .It is too heavy to take on a fly drive holiday.What has this got to do with anything?Well if you hire a car in the USA(which I have done scores of times)you must check the tyre pressures.Very often they ate way out and trying to find a working airline at a filling station is nigh impossible.They have the airline, it not the valve connector(they keep getting stolen)Just thought it worth mentioning.

The item looks good and it measures the pressure very well and is very easy to read the results because has an luminate display. I don’t why but I couldn’t handle very well. I returned. In terms of performance is very good,but sometimes some items doesn’t fit in your hand:)

Works well, and the displayed pressure tallies well with a calibrated pressure gauge that I have access to. However, although the display switches itself off automatically it would seem that even when off there’s something inside consuming power – when I went to use the gauge a month after purchase the supplied alkaline batteries were dead – easy enough to replace them, but annoying . . . hence the 4* rather than 5* rating.

Avevo bisogno di un manometro come questo per controllare la pressione degli pneumatici delle mie due auto (soprattutto quella di mia moglie che non controlla mai nulla) e considerando anche che, nel periodo estivo, la pressione dev’essere controllata e calibrata più spesso e al meglio… ho deciso di ordinare questo dispositivo.La consegna è stata precisa e puntuale come sempre, e nell’imballo ho trovato il manometro nella sua scatola anonima (nessun nome, nessun marchio) unitamente alle due batterie ministilo AAA che ho provveduto a installare immediatamente nel vano con sportellino sul retro del manometro, e… un foglio, dicasi un UNICO foglio di istruzioni (se così possiamo definirle) piuttosto sommarie e, cosa sgradevole per chi non avesse alcun rudimento delle relative lingue… scritto unicamente in inglese da un lato e in tedesco dall’altro: stop!L’asta collegata al corpo del manometro e lunga esattamente 20 cm. e appare robusta e ben assemblata con in punta il mandrino con testa a due connettori, uno finale in cima e un altro rivolto verso il basso con angolo di circa 30° per raggiungere valvole posizionate in punti difficili.Il corpo del manometro misura 7 cm. di diametro ed è contornato e protetto dagli urti da un rivestimento in gomma nera che ricorda proprio un piccolo pneumatico.Per il funzionamento occorre premere il pulsantino “on” dopodichè il display si accende in un bel colore verde brillante ove si leggerà il valore della pressione (0.00 a riposo) e a destra lo stato di carica (a 5 tacche) delle batterie inserite. I numeri del display sono belli grandi e ben visibili, neri sul sottostante campo verde illuminato: per prima cosa bisogna selezionare la scala di misurazione che vogliamo adottare (nel mio caso ho scelto “Bar” in quanto abituato a quella su altri dispositivi più semplici)… oppure si può scegliere anche Psi – Kpa – Kgf/cm quadrato… ma perlomeno in Italia penso che la Bar sia la più usata, e la più intuitiva.Per misurare la pressione si preme su “on” e appena si illumina il display si appoggia (esercitando e mantenendo una decisa pressione) la punta del mandrino terminale contro la valvolina del pneumatico e dopo un secondo ecco apparire sul display il valore della misurazione, dopodichè il display si spegne dopo circa un minuto. Se vogliamo ripetere la misurazione dobbiamo prima azzerare la misurazione precedente agendo a colpetti sulla valvolina di scarico posta a sinistra dell’asta in prossimità del corpo principale, valvolina che serve anche e soprattutto per far fuoriuscire aria in eccesso dal pneumatico nei casi in cui, misurando, ci fosse troppa pressione al suo interno.Riguardo alla precisione delle misurazioni ho confrontato questo manometro con altro simile (che recensirò in seguito) e, apparentemente, i due valori misurati sullo stesso pneumatico discordavano minimamente, con quelli relativi a questo dispositivo sempre un pelino pù bassi rispetto all’altro, ma si trattava di pochi centesimi di Bar, mai più di 4 o 5).Dovendo dare un giudizio spassionato direi che questo manometro mi è piaciuto abbastanza, molto bello e leggibile, soprattutto, il display… mentre mi sono piaciute di meno le istruzioni davvero essenziali e non in italiano e, anche se lo sapevo, l’impossibilità di usarlo anche per il gonfiaggio dei pneumatici (collegato a un compressore) come invece è possibile con altri modelli più completi.Il prezzo poi mi pare leggermente alto essendo appunto privo di accessori come hanno invece altri modelli all’incirca di pari costo.Lo consiglio? Sì e no, considerando appunto la sua scarna dotazione.

Se trata de un manómetro para comprobar la presión de nuestros neumáticos en formato digital.Podemos elegir la medida de presión en la que queramos que nos mida.Tiene un botón para liberar aire del neumático si es que tiene más de la cuenta.La pantalla al ser digital e iluminada se ve muy bien.Funciona con dos pilas incluidas.Este manómetro para mà tiene dos cosas que le hacen diferente al resto y es que la varilla es bastante larga sobre unos 25cm esto no suele ser normal y la otra es que tiene 2 boquillas con la posición diferente para poder colocar en la válvula del coche y poder medir con la que mejor nos venga.Lo he comparado con otro manómetro que tengo que es de mi confianza y la diferencia entre ellos es minima.
