Bunnys love it!
Iâve had 3 rescue rabbits who despite my best efforts love the conservatory, itâs their room now itâs where they feel safe and thatâs fine by me! The rest of the house is always open to them should they fancy coming to see me and my partner.A few weeks back we discovered one had mites!! The vet said the heat could be a factor with mites and as they are all between 6-8 now the hot summers could be tough, £200 for this and some jello for his ears and eye drops for 2 of the trio.When the gf told me this I ordered this as soon as I could, arrived the next day but had no need until this weekend, wow itâs very very impressive! The conservatory is freezing after 2 hours of use itâs done very very well!Was a little noisy but like all noises machines a quick whack and itâs sorted! The rooms about 24sq meters and only just weather proof, all windows are blown with gaps so even more impressed! Thankfully new conservatory is going in next month, with the entire house being reglazed at the same time so Iâm hoping it gets even better!I chose this for the size, itâs not too big and works a treat

Very cool⦠however loud and a mysterious ticking noiseâ¦
 This unit cools down the room massively, I cannot fault it on that, but itâs loud⦠even on the lowest fan setting⦠so if youâre a light sleeper or want this somewhere peaceful, look elsewhere. On top of that, we have had to drain ours 3 times in less than 24 hours, and we definitely got the right size, so I can only guess itâs the humidity. As well as an odd ticking noise like something is stuck in the fan system or something, but itâs nothing too bad. It works really well, and itâs a decent quality. The manual could be simpler, but for its price, it does the job!

Oh boy it’s noisy… But oh so cold!
Great product. Works upto a medium sized room (5m x 6m in my case) and really helps. As a good working example my room was 27degrees celcius at 10pm. Plugged this bad boy in and by bed time at 11:30pm my room was down to 20degrees and by about 1am when I woke it needed to be turned off as the room was a chilly 18degrees. It’s very noisy and depending on your windows, also a bit cumbersome to set up but it’s well worth it. I would also recommend a window sealing kit bought separately to seal the window which you use to expell the hot air from the unit as if the wind is against you all the hot extracted air is easily blown straight back in the same window.

Great bit of kit!
It does the job as you would expect an AC unit with an exhaust house out the window. It definitely cools down the whole flat. We live in a 2 bed flat and the AC is installed in the living room. If you would let this run for 2 hours with all the doors opened, it would drop the temperature from 27 to 23-24 degrees. Energy consumption is decent, as it takes 1kwh/60 mins usage. This is roughly 25pence per hour.Build quality feels good and it also looks great in black. Itâs not very loud, but not quite either. You have to think that itâs not just a fan, itâs got a compressor as well. Itâs not very big compared to other units I have seen.I would be giving it 5 stars, but there some functionality missing. For example, it does not have a thermostat that will turn the machine on as soon as the room reaches a certain temperature, you will have to turn it off yourself. It has the sleep function and a timer function, but again none of these work as good as a thermostat function would. That way your room will have your desired temperature all the time. I guess for the money itâs worth it, giving that there are units well over £500 out there. Another thing is the fan speeds. Thereâs only 2 – low and high. The thing is, you cannot stay anywhere near it regardless of the fan speed, as itâs blowing cold air with very high velocity no matter the fan speed. I guess that can be a good thing as well as a bad thing. Overall Iâm happy with it and I can recommend it!

Dreadful noise
The whole unit vibrates and makes a terrible noise that reverberates through the house.It is not possible to be in the same room as the unit. The seller seems to think that 68 decibels is acceptable yet the data plate says 65. The seller won’t entertain any kind of support or refund so its probably best to stay clear of them. Its a good job the unit was cheaper than elsewhere because I had to hire an engineer to safety check the appliance. It turns out that if the unit HAD BEEN ASSEMBLED CORRECTLY in the first place it might not have been so loud. The noise being made by parts vibrating inside. Potentially dangerous? Don’t buy this, and keep clear of the vendor.

Does the job
We bought this over the weekend and it didn’t arrive until Monday (12th), but I got it installed that evening and it cooled the bedroom down perfectly, I don’t think it can cool much more than your large bedroom really, but the bedroom was our main purpose for these hot stuffy nights. It cooled the room pretty quickly and before we slept we had to turn the unit onto fan and take it off the cool mode as it was pretty chilly. The fan mode then kept the room cool during the night. Definitely worth the money for the few months we summer we actually get.The unit is pretty big and heavy, the pipe and kit is really good, we had to buy a separate window sealing kit, which again done the job, I fitted this before the unit arrived and all I had to do was pop the exhaust through the hole and zip tie it up.
