Bunnys love it!
Iâve had 3 rescue rabbits who despite my best efforts love the conservatory, itâs their room now itâs where they feel safe and thatâs fine by me! The rest of the house is always open to them should they fancy coming to see me and my partner.A few weeks back we discovered one had mites!! The vet said the heat could be a factor with mites and as they are all between 6-8 now the hot summers could be tough, £200 for this and some jello for his ears and eye drops for 2 of the trio.When the gf told me this I ordered this as soon as I could, arrived the next day but had no need until this weekend, wow itâs very very impressive! The conservatory is freezing after 2 hours of use itâs done very very well!Was a little noisy but like all noises machines a quick whack and itâs sorted! The rooms about 24sq meters and only just weather proof, all windows are blown with gaps so even more impressed! Thankfully new conservatory is going in next month, with the entire house being reglazed at the same time so Iâm hoping it gets even better!I chose this for the size, itâs not too big and works a treat

Very cool⦠however loud and a mysterious ticking noiseâ¦
 This unit cools down the room massively, I cannot fault it on that, but itâs loud⦠even on the lowest fan setting⦠so if youâre a light sleeper or want this somewhere peaceful, look elsewhere. On top of that, we have had to drain ours 3 times in less than 24 hours, and we definitely got the right size, so I can only guess itâs the humidity. As well as an odd ticking noise like something is stuck in the fan system or something, but itâs nothing too bad. It works really well, and itâs a decent quality. The manual could be simpler, but for its price, it does the job!

Loud
I bought this for my mum to escape the heat in London. It came well packed and quality seems better than I was expecting, solid, heavy and great finish. I’m new to these but basically 2 speeds but It really needs a much slower and quiet speed. It’s too loud for continuous use. I suggested she just use it for short bursts but that didn’t work. I like it all the same. I don’t like the warning about keeping It away from sources of ignition.. the refrigeration gas is inflammable and oderless. Maybe all modern fridges carry the same risk? The book and I believe the item is made in England! Clearly written but I was impatient and did yet figure out the two small condensate outputs on the back. There is a small pipe supplied to attach to one or other…I attached it to one close to floor and the other end into a bowl. After an hour there was no liquid in the bowl but liquid on the floor underneath the item. I’ve yet to figure that out. The other large duct for putting out of window is pretty big, we didn’t try the alt attachment for fixing between sliding patio window. For the limited trial and price, recommended accept for the noise. I didn’t test sleep mode or dry mode. Remote is pretty simple functional. End.

Does the job
We bought this over the weekend and it didn’t arrive until Monday (12th), but I got it installed that evening and it cooled the bedroom down perfectly, I don’t think it can cool much more than your large bedroom really, but the bedroom was our main purpose for these hot stuffy nights. It cooled the room pretty quickly and before we slept we had to turn the unit onto fan and take it off the cool mode as it was pretty chilly. The fan mode then kept the room cool during the night. Definitely worth the money for the few months we summer we actually get.The unit is pretty big and heavy, the pipe and kit is really good, we had to buy a separate window sealing kit, which again done the job, I fitted this before the unit arrived and all I had to do was pop the exhaust through the hole and zip tie it up.

Dreadful noise
The whole unit vibrates and makes a terrible noise that reverberates through the house.It is not possible to be in the same room as the unit. The seller seems to think that 68 decibels is acceptable yet the data plate says 65. The seller won’t entertain any kind of support or refund so its probably best to stay clear of them. Its a good job the unit was cheaper than elsewhere because I had to hire an engineer to safety check the appliance. It turns out that if the unit HAD BEEN ASSEMBLED CORRECTLY in the first place it might not have been so loud. The noise being made by parts vibrating inside. Potentially dangerous? Don’t buy this, and keep clear of the vendor.
