well built
makes my loft roon which is about 5m by 7m very cool. I vent it out of the window with a fluffy blanket covering the gaps. This does the job fine. It is a little noisy but I think thats standard for these kind of products. It is very heavy though. its expensive but I think it seems to be very well built and does the job so i cant complain. I will be trying it in a huge kitchen diner, with lots of glass later this year and will update accordingly. I dont think the unit is “spec’d for a room that big but lets see how it goes!

Worth it!
Firstly, this did NOT come with a window bracket and the cord is quite short. It also isn’t silent but not deathening either! Update: we’ve experienced really hot humid weather, past 2 years and this has been AMAZING. Definitely worth the investment.

Sturdy, quiet and cooling
Got this as a replacement for a cheaper generic unit that broke within a few uses.The noise level (even on high) is about the same as a desk fan, the exhaust hose is sturdy, and it cools my living room quickly. At 30kg a single person wouldnât be able to move between floors, but it is easily movable on its wheels on carpet and hard floors. The plug could be longer. All in all, for an old model I would by it again if the price was right (itâs gone up £60 since I bought mine)A window kit isnât included

Excellent performance, however noise is a bit much for a bedroom.
I liked the performance and the ability to chill the room. I understood that there would be noise even on the quietest setting, however this was just too much.The return process was also a pain as the buyer has to organise the return and pay for it. The manufacturer recommends Hermes, and they wont pick up anything over 15kg, so I used DPD. You will be looking at a steep bill for shipping with courier insurance for a £500 product.

Good AC but too pricy!
If you are among those who melt and must be kept cool during sticky summer times, then this is a good option. However, it suffers from high price and short ducting for its air outlet. The latter is a problem with most AC’s; consider duct extensions. I must say I have had it for around only two months, so I can’t comment on any long term issues, if any.

Stay away….. Honestly beyond terrible! I bought due to the name (brand) and the word silent… Trust defeated in one swift go!It’s noisey beyond belief! The extractor pipe is short beyond belief (you will need to buy a longer one) .. The included one is not practical at all!Does it cool.. Yes…. Analogy.. Would an atomic bomb kill a mosquito? Yes……For the price one pays you expect something that actually delivers on brand and model.. This does not..Total regret buying this.. But outside of 30 day protection given trust in brand… Never again de’longhiWorst waste of money ever… To be precise it cools… Bit it’s not the silent model it pretends to be… Buy cheaper this is a gargantuan waste of money .. Honestly so loud it’s incredible!Cannot believe I got suckered by a major brand… So dissapointing … Shame on you de’longhi (not that you give a damn.. I guess)

En una habitación extremadamente calurosa, es capaz de reducir la temperatura notablemente (de casi 32 a 24 grados) aunque tarda un rato en hacerlo, cosa lógica y normal.Es muy sencillo de instalar y después de sacarlo de la caja, en muy pocos instantes tendrás el aparato en marcha,, aunque quizá el tubo es algo corto, al igual que el cable de corriente, bueno, éste último no es algo corto, es MUY cortoSi tengo que ponerle una pega, es que el difusor del aire no es regulable en absoluto y el aire sale -en mi opinión- demasiado vertical, y, por ejemplo, si estás sentado en una silla a la altura normal, el aire frÃo no te tocará en absoluto a no ser que te lo pongas a menos de 40 centÃmetros de tu posición (yo soy muy fan de que me de el chorro del aire directamente).El nivel de ruido no es exagerado para un aparato de éstas caracterÃsticas, quizá algo elevado para dormir con el en la habitación, pero sin ser silencioso al 100%, si es muy discreto (literalmente, a mi no me molesta dormir con el al lado)En general, producto notable y recomendable.
