Bedroom Cooling.
A nice portable AC. Good cooling with adjustable speed and temperature cooling. Short exhaust tube which is not ideal as unit needs to be closer to a window.Timer and sleep feature is very hands.Great little remote control but difficult to see at night as it has no backlight.Most importantly the noise, it is not quiet at all on fully power.However, On its lowest setting it is very comfortable, no louder then an average fan.I have had an older portable unite which was like a jet engine awful for sleeping.43db on lowest 45db on medium and 53db on highest.Not bad compared to 77db on last old model. But you would not really have it on highest setting unless you are calling down a hot room before before use.Unit itself is quite compact with casters to push around. Easy to store away.Great portable solution and value item for relief from the new tropical Uk summer heat we are now experiencing.

Excellent cooling, with a couple of caveats.
I work from home four days a week and once I’ve turned all my computers and monitors on the room gets quite warm. I don’t need heating in the winter kind-of warm. Obviously this gets really intolerable during the summer, so I started looking around for an air cooling unit. From my research I’d read that cheaper brands and units often aren’t much good, simply cooling a small area around the unit or worse, just blowing warm air around the room. So I decided to buy the De’Longhi as it had the best reviews I’d found, though it is quite expensive. Here are the pros and cons:Pros(1) WOW, this thing really does cool the room right down, and pretty fast too.(2) The interface is simple to use. I understood how it worked more or less at a glance.(3) Despite its size and weight it’s easy to move around (on wheels).Cons(1) The unit is larger than I expected and probably too large for the smallish room I have my equipment in.(2) Even on its min setting it’s noisy, though the sound is more a low hum. I deliberately used the word noisy rather than loud as the main issue is it vibrates the floor a bit like a washing machine (low frequency and obviously not much as a washing machine), so I also bought some vibration absorbers for the feet as I live in an apartment and don’t want to annoy my neighbours.

Brilliant – love it
Bought 2 years ago! Being perimenopause this air con unit is an absolute must! I love the fact that it gets rid of the oppressive humidity. Itâs big and pretty heavy but on the rare occasions we have this horribly muggy hot weather – itâs a life saver. It makes a noise but I can sleep through it. The pluses far out weigh the negatives. Last year it wasnât used. Set it up today and itâs working great. Not cheap but recommended by a very good friend who has had a similar delonghi device for 18 years and hers is still working well.

Very good aircon unit.
In the heat of summer just past, this literally saved me some sweaty and restless nights. Cooled my room quickly and kept it cool all night. It looks smart, its powerful as the fan sends the air pretty far and whilst it’s not the quietest it’s something you’ll definitely put up with just to have a good night sleep. The remote control is not the best and pretty cheap. Has to be aimed directly at the unit to get any sort of feedback at all.

Water, water, everywhere!
Cools my room just fine. Unfortunately it fills a bucket of water up EVERY day. Itâs on air conditioning mode and spews out water constantly. It behaves like a dehumidifier on dehumidifier mode, but on air conditioning mode seems to be some kind of hybrid setting behind the scenes.I discussed with DeLonghi, they said that it shouldnât be doing that and Iâm using it correctly but referred me to the resellerâ¦

Works quite well, but VERY loud.
Unit cools small room fairly effectively.Adjustable fan levels and temperature on remote.Main issue is noise, it’s so loud you can’t hold a normal conversation if you’re within about 4 metres of it! Measure around 65db which is pretty loud. Ends up surrounding it with packing boxes and foam so I could at least hear the TV!

Worth it
I’m very impressed. Even tho we are yet to experience a heatwave this year (2019), aircon worked very well, when o/s temperature was 27C. As all of the windows face south and its a penthouse apartment, it gets hot, real hot, very quickly. Aircon dealt with the heat remarkably well, I was surprised how hot the extraction pipe gets (good thing, this proves that hot air is getting extracted) . It’s Def less noisy than 16″ high powered pedestal fan. It’s small enough and can be wheeled easily, no leaks, not too heavy (20kg) . It’s dead easy to set up and use. Sleep mode, timer it’s all there. Great buy.

Strong beast of a machine
I was at first disappointed with this very big kinda ugly machine that is not so silent, nor white, (more like a light grey.)It is also very heavy at around 30 kilos, (not 20kg as the first reviewer states :/ )The first day of running it also emitted an unpleasant off gassing (like new car smell) which may not bother some, but I am sensitive, and had to leave it running while I was out for a day, crossing fingers it would not take too long.-However-It only took a day to off-gas and packed a very strong punch during our first heatwave day of 2019, (35c .)I was very pleased with it’s performance; very powerful, more than enough for my master bedroom, cooled it in about 1 minute! The fan alone works very well too, when I want to shut windows opposite to the unit to block out my smoking neighbours, and still have circulation in the room.At the lowest setting the sound is fine; pleasant enough and one can watch netflix on laptop with no bother.At the highest setting one might want to wear earplugs when trying to sleep as it is a bit intense.Having said that, it is exceptionally powerful and the lowest setting is more than adequate to cool a large bedroom in a short amount of time.Hope this helps!

Climatisation bien refroidie bien une chambre ou petit salon 30 m2. En ventilation maxi un peu bruyant mais c est mieux que d avoir trop chaud…il manque le kit fenêtre qui serait vraiment un plus.

J’ai choisi ce modèle, malgré tout assez cher, ne voulant pas investir dans une installation alors que je mâapprête à déménager, pour à la base rafraichir une pièce principale de 25 m² et les commentaires (le disait possible) – c’est décevant abaissant que de 2°C en le positionnant à 16° – en revanche dans une chambre de 11m² en isolant bien le battant ouvert de la fenêtre, la température est passée dans le même temps de 32 à 22 – le bruit même si on s’y habitue est assez fort – le modèle est plus encombrant et lourd qu’il n’y paraissait avec les côtes de la fiche technique – le tuyau est court – ce qui est appréciable c’est l’autogestion de l’eau des condensats – la finition est bonne et fidèle à la réputation de la marque. Encore aucun retour sur la consommation électrique.
