Excellent portable air conditioner.
Works very effectively as a cooling and dehumidifying device. Although not silent (no rational person would expect it to be), it is considerably quieter and very much more attractive than the cheaper, failed device it replaces in my home.Other reviewers complain that the WiFi capability and accompanying app arenât good. I found that initial connection to WiFi is far easier if the unit is as close as possible to a WiFi router or repeater. Once the initial connection is made, the connection is reliable and the App does everything that you would want it to.I purchased mine from Amazon Warehouse at a fantastic discount. The packaging was damaged as expected but the unit and its accessories had only incredibly minor cosmetic imperfections that I had to search hard to find.

Very very good with a few buts
Iâve had this for a couple of months and it was an absolute lifesaver for the two days of proper summer we had. It cools the room really quickly, our medium sized living room cools down by about 0.5C in about 5 minutes. It seems pretty energy efficient but Iâll update that when we get our next electricity bill. A few things which might be an issue for some people…1. The noise. I love white noise so for me itâs perfect but you would likely have to turn up the tv when this is on. Even on silent mode. My babies find the noise soothing and sleep through it but my husband said it took a bit of getting used to.2. If you have small children youâll want to insure this as they seem to like putting objects into the rather large vent spaces. Itâs not the air conditioners fault that my children feel like throwing things in, but Iâve seen other models with better child proofing eg smaller holes. My iPhone has been thrown in quite easily. It is possible to open the unit up to remove the objects.3. Itâs a bit bulky but itâs well designed and I think aesthetically pleasing 4. As with all portable ACs you need to install it and ideally seal off the window otherwise it would be inefficient. We got a mesh from Amazon which does a good enough job. 5. It can potentially be moved from room to room on the same floor as it has wheels but itâs very heavy so moving between floors would be tricky. All in all itâs a great device, even for the crazy price and I donât know how we lived through previous summers without air conditioning.

Love my Penguino!!!!
Purchased this Delonghi after much deliberation and I’m so glad I did!!! Arrived today at 7:20am and was easy to unpack and set up. It is heavy but rolls along great on the castors. The little spaces they call handle grips aren’t deep enough to really help, too shallow. However I’m very pleased indeed with how it looks. I’ve turned it on and at its lowest setting of 18degrees you can feel the coldness. Noise level was really the most important factor for me and I’m a realist…no portable aircon unit is ever going to be silent despite advertising as such. However this unit is by far the quietest I’ve experienced. Other cheaper models just sound like tractors. This Delonghi isn’t completely silent but even at the highest setting I’m still able to watch TV with the unit about 4ft away from me and I’m not that bothered by the noise. If you switch to the lowest level silent mode there is a relatively noticeable difference but again not silent. Its an aircon unit and if it’s cooling down your property in my opinion it’s an acceptable trade off. Only regret I didn’t buy it last year!!P.s for those that need to sleep in a totally silent room then I’d suggest to wear ear plugs. I do if I’m sleeping in the same room as the unit and I personally sleep fine, again it’s a trade off against sleeping in on awful hot room. I also put the unit on a programme that only turns the unit on if the temperature rises above what I’d like it to be. Very useful.

Brilliant unit.
The Air Con came yesterday in perfect condition on a sack truck, which was very pleasing to see rather than it being carried in a physical way, which would prove to be very difficult considering just how heavy this unit is.My greatest love is the “Real Feel Technology” which must be a new idea on this brand? it works by the CPU analysing the “temperature and humidity” within the room, then “automatically” maintains a perfect environment to be in.The Real Feel Technology saves money on the running cost due to it “only” switching on automatically at short intervals when needed. There are three lights on the top of the unit which singly go off and on thus indicating to the user the correct or incorrect environment within the roomspace, it’s amazing, it does all the thinking for you.The dB noise level is very pleasing for an Air Con because even the most expensive indoor Air Cons will still produce high levels of noise, that’s just how they are. This unit however to my surprise is much quieter than any Air Cons I’ve ever owned before, it’s “not” silent, not by any means, but, it’s not overly noisy which should defo please the user.It really does cool the room down very quickly without taking centre stage in the noise department, one won’t even know it’s there if using the “Real Feel Technology” mode.I don’t know how things will fare functioning wise from this unit as time goes by, because it’s simply too soon to make such a judgment. If it keeps on working in this manner, I can highly recommend this unit with great confidence to anyone.A very pleasing unit that carries a hefty price for staying cool, hot sweaty days are not something many people enjoy enduring.

An utter disappointment
Bulky, short hose, very noisy. Does not cool well at all. The remote needs resetting on a regular basis. The phone app is an utter joke, more akin to somebody’s first try at an iPhone app ten years ago. I am really disappointed with every single aspect of this machine.

Cette clim mobile vaut son prix, je recommande : elle est de bonne qualité, efficace et simple dâutilisation.Plus silencieuse que la majorité des clims mobiles … mais ca reste bruyant nâespérez pas dormir juste à coté sans boules quies.Elle les memes défauts que toutes les clims mobiles => bruit, évacuation de lâair chaud via un gros tuyau, efficacité moindre quâune clim « split », pas possible de la mettre en mode “soufflerie légère” (c’est soit tout soit rien).

Ho scelto appositamente un modello senza acqua per evitare il problema dei rabbocchi nonché quello del calcare. Optato per questo “AN112 Silent” anche per riutilizzo della condensa come raffreddante del compressore. Pagato 578 euro, in offerta. L’ho valutato come Pinguino senza pretendere prestazioni da climatizzatore fisso. L’uso è avvenuto utilizzando la staffa in dotazione che permette di tenere le finestre chiuse e l’avvolgibile abbassato. Il tutto nell’incredibile estate 2015!!!!!Vantaggi:- costruzione davvero molto molto solida e finitura ottima. Sembra tedesco- funzionamento affidabile e console comandi chiara e facile da usare- raffreddamento buono/ottimo (1-2 stanze) ovvero per quello che è costruito- deumidificazione perfetta, questo è il pregio numero uno!- dal tubo di scarico esce solo aria calda quindi non sgocciola condensa ai piani inferiori- suffcientemente silenzioso per uso diurno- ventola potente- telecomando ottimo- non fa rumori imprevisti e snervanti (cigolii, plastiche che vibrano, ticchettii strani, ecc.)- si può programmare l’accensione oppure lo spegnimento nelle 24 ore successive- in caso di black-out riprende a funzionare non appena torna corrente, ossia non va in stand-by- rotelle molto scorrevoli- funzione “silent” apprezzabile, ma non rivoluzionariaSvantaggi- il rumore è di frigorifero, ma ciò che di notte può infastidire sono i vari on/off e non tanto compressore e ventola in funzione- il tubo di scarico scalda parecchio, quindi alle spalle del Pinguino si forma una zona di calore- nel tubo di scarico (bianco panna) entra luce esterna che lo illumina come un debole neon- pesa 30 kg- il tubo di scarico è obbligatorio e vincolante! Va usato quello in dotazione e sono vietate le prolunghe.Conclusioni: delude se si pretende di raffreddare un intero appartamento (non è nato per questo!) e appena lo si spegne caldo e l’umidità ritornano in circa 10 minuti. Quando lo si accende soffia subito freddo, però il confort nel locale lo si raggiunge dopo un’oretta. Al termine della stagione ho svitato l’apposita vite per eliminare l’acqua di condensa in eccesso, ma non ce n’era. Significa che l’utilizzo di detta acqua come refrigerante funziona davvero. E’ stato acceso anche 16 e talvolta 24 ore di seguito senza manifestare alcuna anomalia (spegnimento per surriscaldamento ad esempio), un vero mulo. Non ho riscontrato aumenti significativi in bolletta. Sono soddisfatto, mi ha salvato la scorsa estate!AGGIORNAMENTO 4 AGOSTO 2016Confermo quanto scritto in precedenza e aggiungo che la funzione Real Feel è davvero ottima in quanto la macchina non deumidifica e climatizza più “a testa bassa”, ma applica un qualche algoritmo per cui si vede che lavora separatamente per deumidificare e raffreddare cercando di proporre il compromesso migliore. Ventole e compressore entrano in funzione in momenti diversi e ad intensità differenti. Nel 2015, forse complice il caldo spietato, l’avevo usato impostando bene o male 24 gradi con ventola media o massima, quest’estate invece ho dato spazio a questa funzione e nei due locali dove lo utilizzo ho potuto ricreare un confort climatico davvero ideale: l’umidità sparisce e non si avvertono addosso flussi né ondate di aria gelida (che sono fastidiosi se si è un filo sudati), ma si sta veramente, veramente bene per ore in modo omogeneo e costante. Funzione spettacolare anche per la notte, a patto di lasciare lavorare la macchina nella stanza adiacente.

Lo venden como silencioso y hace un ruido agudo que proviene de la bomba, asà que aunque lo pongas en silent no te deja dormir, lo único que hace este sistema es poner el ventilador al mÃnimo asà que no sirve para nada.En las caracterÃsticas de amazon pone menos db de los que indica en las instrucciones del aparatoTengo otro modelo el eco 112 y este si que es silencioso, la bomba no suena pero hay que añadirle agua, pesa mas y vale mas caro pero no molesta por la noche

J ai pris ce matériel pour une Climatisation dâun bureau individuel . Le côté bruit étant important . L option Silent est bien. Nette baisse de bruit par rapport à d autres matériels . Facile de démarrage et d exploitation

Ho acquistato questo condizionatore un pò prima dell’inizio dell’estate, in previsioni di serate molto calde per prevenire eventuali boccheggiamenti.Sul prezzo siamo nella media di altri condizionatori DeLonghi di questa fascia e potenza, circa 700 euro a Maggio 2016 (nel momento in cui sto scrivendo la recensione, ovvero Dicembre 2016, è sceso a 480!).Arrivato con Prime il giorno dopo l’acquisto, vi dico subito che è molto pesante ma con le comode rotelle presenti sotto è facilmente trasportabile.Il Pinguino vanta una potenza max di 11.000 BTU ed una classe energetica A+ (quindi consumi ottimizzati).E’ provvisto di telecomando che emula le stesse funzioni presenti sopra il pannello superiore.Ha molte funzioni, tra cui Condizionamento con Ventilazione, solo Ventilazione e Deumidificazione. La più utilizzata ovvero il Condizionamento con ventilazione è potente e rinfresca senza problemi una stanza da 15/20 metri quadri. Purtroppo il rumore c’è e si sente, ma utilizzando la funzione “Silent”, la situazione migliora parecchio.Sappiate che all’interno del pacco troverete un pannello da inserire nella finestra sotto la serranda. Questo pannello ha un buco dove si innesta il tubo per espellere l’aria calda verso l’esterno (comodo per evitare di bucare il vetro).Infine trovo molto interessante la funzione di ricircolo della condensa che ci evita il fastidioso iter dello scarico dellâacqua prodotta. Segnalo anche l’utilissimo timer che ci consente di tenerlo attivo per qualche ora in modo da rinfrescare la stanza e addormentarci piacevolmente.
