A truly great piece of kit.
I have used this well over 100 times now. It is certainly robust. I notice there are those who do not understand the sizes given in the description, else they wouldn’t whinge about it being small. It is small but perfect for one / two people on a hike. I use mine with a small alcohol stove the handles have not melted. I use wooden spoons/chopsticks, both freebies from takeaways, and it is still non stick. I mainly use it for boiling water to make packet meals and tea. But I do make my morning porridge in the big one. The non stick has lasted well. My stove, fuel, spoons, sponge, windbreak and stand all fit inside. They fit inside a bag and do not rattle around. This has proved to have been a good buy all those years ago. Unlike my boots, Ponchos and hats.

its okay and as described … but other sites sell them far cheaper
The item itself is perfectly fine, it is lightweight and will do for one person, I’ll say that it is only going to be useful for tins up and water… maybe making a small strew or pouching an egg? The top pan only sits on the top of the other pan, and they don’t screw together, in case anyone may be wondering. You’ll also be able to store c500 and c300 gas can inside, to had a little security while travelling or backpacking, to be honest, this was the main reason I purchased this simply to store my gas can while having a small pan handy in case I didn’t want to undo my decent kit for the stake of boiling some water or heating something small. It also comes with a decent bag to ensure if all stays together, so I’m that fussed it doesn’t screw. While searching all of Amazon, for the best deal with best reviews, and so I wasn’t wasting more money this was by the far the cheapest. However, after ordering I needed something else from another not so well know selling site [ ali express] While I was on that site I thought I would randomly just type in camping gear, and to my amazement, the same set and a lot more other items I had purchased from Amazon were a third of the price if not cheaper. This same set was £3.50 – The only problem was that some had a ten-day delivery option while others had a 4-5 week delivery date, not next day like Amazon offer. So if you are in no rush, it might be wiser and cheaper to think again.

Mediocre
Poorly designed, even a cheap thing like this can have a bit of thought into how it will be used, so that for example the small pot can rest on top of the larger, to steam or keep food warm. The handles ate poor too.But the material and coating is holding up in daily use so can’t really complain. But mediocre at best. Spend a bit more, get much better.

Perfect 1-2 man backpacking pot set
Bought this for backpacking, specifically for multi-day hill walking in the UK. Must say I am really really impressed. It is small but will hold enough soup or pasta for 2.The lid / small pan works well as a mug too if you are on your own. When the two pans are connected It holds a small collapsible gas stove (butane / propane) (mineâs an oex) and a 100g Coleman-type canister as well as a lighter. This is all I need for 2-3 days wild camping. I use it with a windshield and Iâd advise anyone to do similar (I got a cheap light ally one from Amazon; as per the pic)Did lots of maths and shopping around and this is really the best option in terms of space / weight for a multi day lightweight trip and beats many more expensive options. The fact that it holds the stove and gas is a huge advantage. The anodising is pretty tough and Iâve used it lots with metal spoons and stuff and itâs completely unscathed.Itâs steel and a few grams heavier (but not many) than ally but if I turn my stove up, it will warp an ally pan and this is wayyyy tougher.Mine arrived with a little dent in but that is not a huge issue for me, it will pick up a few more before much longer.I was a bit of a gear snob if Iâm honest but seriously this is absolutely the business for lightweight solo backpacking.Cheers. Excellent at the price.
You can buy branded products that seem to be no different to this that cost twice as much but there is no need, as these pots are excellent.Perfect for a brew or heating one pot meals, they are lightweight and easy to clean. With my Polymath stove disassembled and stored inside the total weight was 350g.
