Great piece of equipment

One of the main reasons I bought this cordless trimmer was that it included two 4amp 21v batteries which allows me to trim the garden using just one battery. Since the batteries on these less well known makes could be difficult to replace this should extend the life of the trimmer. The build quality is okay but the plastic blades do not last long and I have mostly used the metal blades. The performance of the motor is okay but will temporarily stop (by design I presume to stop burn out) if the load on the blade is to much. If you keep swinging the head this reduces the loading. The grass cutting accessory works but it would take ages to cut a lawn with it – okay for the bits you miss with the main mower.All-in-all excellent value for money

Metal blades cut well, plastic blades a bit flimsy,need to use those on shorter grass. Overall, good value for money. A bit fiddly putting together,but not too hard.

Great Strimmer
I bought this strimmer just over a week ago. There was alot of brambles & growth from neighbours side of fence. I used the slim 2 edged blade & it cut through all of it. I did hit of some hidden concrete a few times & it bent the ends but i took the blade off, straightened out with my hammer at the end & kept cutting. The battery lasts well though on neighbours side i had to use 2 batteries i think because of the height, thickness & amount of heavy brambles & growth. For my front large garden, I got all of my edges including alongside path outside & a good chunkof grass on one side where its difficult to mow. I havent tried the wheels yet or other blades. The plastic blades look far more stronger than the wee flimsy blades. This strimmer is also extremely light. By the end of my cutting, I didnt have a sore back or shaky arm like previous strimmers lol. Its not as powerful as a petrol strimmer but it does a great job. This was a good test as it was my 1st cut of the year…Noise was much less than previous strimmers ive bought.

Well that was easy!
Ok the instructions are not totally idiot proof, otherwise a great piece of kit. Be careful when cutting against brick or edging with the plastic blades, but the steel ones are excellent, not tried saw blade. Very lightweight so easy to manoeuvre, time will tell on batteries.

Would not recommend
Poor quality plastic item apart from the telescopic shaft. Lightweight yes, but to the point of danger. The assembly instructions are awful in terms of adequacy for safe assembly, poor English and unclear. Fitting of plastic blades is not covered at all. I would not trust this machine to put in the circular saw blade. Changing the angle of the head for edge-trimming makes it difficult to access the squeex on/off trigger. Really can’t recommend this and certainly not worth the money. Very disappointed.

A handy garden helper!
Thought this worth a try for its cost and other reviews. To date, very pleased. For a small lightweight strimmer it’s very effective. The wire blade guard was pesky and quickly got bent while my DIY replacement promptly ‘flew away’! Best used without its wire blade guard while staying alert to ensure extra care. Its hi-speed blade is ‘invisible’ when spinning, quiet and takes a while to stop after switching off! Strongly advise removing the battery when not strimming even when just handling the tool. The wheels add versatility but I’ve not tried them yet. After considerable use am still using the original metal blade. A handy ‘go to’ time saver for helping contain our rather wayward ‘natural’ garden. From several lookalike tools on Amazon I went for this ‘safety red’ colour strimmer.

Lightweight, easy to use!
I was sceptical about buying this but I desperately needed a strimmer that could deal with my overgrown garden and get it to a length to be mowed. This absolutely did the job and Iâm so pleased I bought it!
