   Nice fabric, bizarre pattern
   It’s nice to find something that is 100% cotton, although that makes me doubt the “quick drying” claim!I must admit that I didn’t look at the sizing chart as I have found with Chinese brands they are often a work of fiction. I am about a 38 – 40″ waist and ordered the XL. They fit okayish but are just a bit tight across the front. With hindsight it looks like their sizing chart is probably accurate (!) and I should have ordered a 2XL.They are nicely finished with zip pockets and big drawstrings. The main problem I have with them is the peculiar design! They are covered in large letter Bs (or it might be an 8) and the “word” UADK! It’s a bit weird and they would have been so much better plain.

   Good Quality Cotton Summer Shorts
   These summer shorts are made from good quality cotton which is a big plus for me as I don’t like the feel of polyester and it isn’t biodegradable. They are soft to the touch and very well stitched apart from the button hole on the back pocket which hasn’t been finished very well and has freyed edges. I don’t mind getting out a needle and thread and stitching round the button hole because I think the shorts are worth the effort, but really, for a pair of shorts with an asking price of £22.99 , you would have expected them to have passed quality control. That aside, I do like these shorts and the “cut of the jib” appeals to me, with the “just over the knee” length and comfortable fit. There are 3 pockets, two on either side with well attached zips and the back pocket has a button with a “trident” emblem on it. It has a printed design which I think is trying to “pay homage” to “Louis Vouitton” in some way but it is made up of a “B” with interconnecting “UADK” lettering. I’m not sure what the letters stand for but they look ok. There is a black and white drawstring so you don’t lose your shorts whilst diving into a pool and it also has an elasticated waistband which stretches to fit your “girth”. They are described as “Quick Dry” so I presume that they are good for swimming but they also serve well as a pair of casual shorts for “kicking about the house” in. I took a star off for the “freyed button hole” but other than that they are a well made pair of good quality cotton summer shorts that look pretty cool and are comfortable to wear. They look like they will last a number of years and in that respect seems like a reasonable proposition at £22.99. Solid 4 stars!

   Look good but aren’t lined
   These are well cut and well fitted shorts that look really smart on. They have a lace belt which means they can be adjusted to fit and they are lightweight and feel good on.I would prefer them to be lined though although the fact they aren’t mean they dry quickly if they get wet. They do contain a very useful pocket with a zip meaning you can keep your phone or similar valuables safe while you are wearing them.They are made from pure cotton they are easy to wash, dry and they do travel well.

   This is a nice pair of shorts 🩳 perfectly for my holiday in Spain soon to go , fits nicely and true to size also pretty blue color with side pockets and comfy material, breathable and lightweight texture. Very pleased with this item!
