8 EASY STEPS AND YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE ON THEIR WAY AGAIN
STEP 1
Remove offending object from tire with included heavy duty pliers.
STEP 2
Use spiral reaming tool to enlarge punture.
STEP 3
Apply included lubricant to ease threading of cord and insertion into puncture area.
STEP 4
Use the pliers to remove a repair cord out the side of the plastic.
STEP 5
Thread repair cord into eye of insertion tool.
STEP 6
Use insertion tool to insert cord into puncture, leaving 1/2 inch of cord ends visible.
STEP 7
Slide the retaining platform untill against the tire. Hold the retaining platform against the tire while quickly and firmly pulling the T-Handle up leaving the plug in place.
STEP 8
Use the included knife to trim excess plug material and re-Inflate tire to recommended pressure.

This is an absolute life saver
A MUST HAVE kit in your car!!!Finished a 550 mile trip to Scotland to find out that I’ve driven into a nail somewhere on the way!Stuck in the middle of Scottish highlands and this kit saved our entire trip.The procedure was super simple and the instructions were clear and easy to understand.The kit comes with everything you need to repair the tyre. Lots of knots to plug holes and feel sturdy but unfortunatelly mine snapped on first try luckly they predicted that it might happened and supply with spare one other than that fail good product. I only wish instructions manual would be more comprehensive and list all items with what they are used for

Great tool that I’ll keep in my car
I had a screw in the tread of my front tyre, I was going to blow it up and take it to the local garage but spotted this kit on Amazon. The cost was similar to a single fix so I thought I’d give it a try.I removed the wheel to give better access and I think it would have been a real struggle doing this on the car.The hardest part was the removal of the screw which was embedded in the rubber, I found that the included pliers were not adequate and I had to get a pair of mole grips (locking pliers) to get a good grip and allow me to pull the screw out. Reaming the hole was very easy, I then tried threading the rubber strip through the appropriate tool, I was wearing thin gloves and they kept sticking to the rubber glue making it quite difficult. Eventually I got it centred and pushed it in to the hole in the tyre. One quick pull and the handle came off the tool, luckily a hex key was provided so I was able to put it back on and get it tight. Another good pull and the tool came out leaving the plug embedded in the tyre with a bit protruding. I waited a few minutes, whilst I packed away the kit and then cut off the excess. I did test it with some soapy water to ensure it wasn’t leaking and all was good.I know that this is supposed to be a temporary fix but I bought this set in July and the tyre is still inflated at the end of Sept so I’m just going to leave it as it is.

We were very impressed I had a puncture late Saturday afternoon. We tried our local Halfords to buy a similar product but no luck,Came home chose this product and ordered.It ,arrived the following day. Saving your bacon with strips
It’s one of those annoying things when you’ve got a new tyre that’s only done 300 miles and you end up screwed.I’ve used similar products before for my motorbikes and this was no different. The bacon strips were tacky and fibrous. The additional tools that came supplied were useful to have, but let down by their quality.The rasp could have been better designed with rough knurling as well as being screwed. It made enlarging the hole a bit less predictable since you weren’t filing the incision or keying it, meaning that the subsequent step required a bit more effort.Reaming the bacon strip through the sphincter, going in dry, was hard work. I managed to break a sweat and skin my knuckles. This is despite applying liberal amounts of lube to the tool. Again, I put this down to failure to gape in the previous step.The handle came off the insertion tool since the grub screws weren’t tight enough, unlike the sensation of pegging the tyre on the way in. I had to remove it with the supplied set of pliers.With the prolapsed dangle berry in place, I pumped the tyre up to 40 Psi with my Michelin 240V tyre inflator (took about 90s) and waited 10 minutes to see if it held. No leaks with the soapy water spray. Took it for a 20 min drive on country NSLs and held up well.Only time will tell how this will last. A similar repair on a set of Dunlop Road smart 190 section tyres on my FireBlade lasted me the life of the tyre i.e. when it started to square off.Pros – cost. Had more than enough bacon strips to last me a while.Cons – quality of tools. Rasp and insertion tool could be better made, but for £20 instead of £190 for a new 315 35 19″ Falken tyre, I can’t complain.

Fui por emergencia a una llantera para reparar un neumático pinchado y me comentaron que para retirar la rueda era necesaria la llave para birlos de seguridad con la cual no contaba por lo que me dijeron que ellos podrÃan hacer el servicio de eliminar ese birlo y aparte la reparación de la llanta. Todo me iba salir más caro que comprar este artÃculo que sin quitar nada pude reparar la llanta y sin defecto alguno. Ahora tengo más oportunidades de que si me vuelve a pasar algo similar ya cargo este kit en mi vehÃculo en caso de algún pinchazo. Se usa mejor cuando la llanta aún tiene aire ya que desinflada cuesta poco más meter la tira reparadora.

Hab das Set jetzt zum ersten Mal ausprobiert.Ich hatte im Vorfeld schon mal gesehen wie man so ein Set anwendet, was natürlich kein Hexenwerk.Also Reifen ab, Luft raus, Metallteil aus dem Reifen gezogen und losgelegt.Das Werkzeug macht einen guten hochwertigen Eindruck. Man muss natürlich schon etwas Kraft aufwenden, aber es hat sich nichts verbogen oder ist gebrochen.Es sind Ersatzventile dabei, die man sich glaub ich sparen. Die Ventileinsätze machen natürlich sind.Alles in allem ein guter Koffer zu einem faireren Preis.
