Excellent Product
Bought this product (the 2 pack) to use whilst we were away volunteering for 2 weeks. The ‘full beam’ was great when needed, the dimmer beam was perfect for reading under the mosquito net and didn’t attract too many unwanted visitors and the red light was great when not wanting to disturb the animals (and sleeping humans !!). All round, it did a great job and the batteries are still going strong, despite a fair bit of use every night for 2 weeks. It was comfortable to wear, not too heavy like some alternative models and the fact that the angle of the beam could be adjusted, meant it could be used for many different tasks. It go a little wet once in a downpour, but it still worked perfectly afterwards.We are both really pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone going away on anything from a one night camping trip, to a full on month away volunteering.

Good piece of kit
Very impressed for the price of the item. Only complaint is that the “tilt” on the torch unit is a bit loose – keeps the angle fairly well, but moves way too easily when knocked or bumped – could do with being a bit ‘firmer’ so it stays in place better.

Bought the head torch due to having a red light function. After using the head torch for less than a month month the red light function no longer works. The torch also turns off at the slightest knock. Only reason for 3 stars is that the seller was quick to reply and offer an exchange or refund due to the faulty item. Hopefully this was a one off.

This headlamp is reliable and it doesn’t have a lot of special features except that it has easy access to redlight. It also runs exclusively off of batteries. This is generally a downside, it’s fine because I have rechargeable once but be aware that you need them for this headlamp. It’s 3 AA batteries, I believe. They seem to last for a long time.This headlamp doesn’t fall under the mega bright category that some of them do, it’s bright, but some of them are crazy bright. This one is moderately bright. It illuminates a room comfortably and you can read a book using them if there is a need for that.I think a lot of people opt for the really bright ones and the ones that charge by USB, this is a good backup pair to have. I have rechargeable batteries and it’s nice to know that I always have these if I have forgotten to charge everything else. The red light is also an excellent feature.

Die Kopflampen haben sich wirklich weiter entwickelt! Für so einen günstigen Preis hätte ich nicht so eine Leistung erwartet! Ich wollte sie eigentlich nur wegen des Rotlichts, aber sie ist eine vollwertige Lampe mit einem sehr starken Strahl mit dem man weit schauen kann!
