Amazing AC unit that takes up little space and works well!
Very happy with this purchase. The unit works amazing, at 16 degrees itâs super cold and cools my whole hallway down really well. I bought it to help keep the house cool for the upcoming summer and I know itâll definitely do that well. Great bit of kit, comes with a remote and an exhaust vent for the hot air to go out the window. Definitely would recommend!

Headache
It gives us headache few minutes after turning it on. The room isnât that cool yet so I bet itâs not the cold. Anyone else experienced this?But it does make the room cold. 5 star for that.

Exhaust hose too short for UK and poor water tray empty port
Overall the basic functions of the machine are satisfactory, however, it is let down by too significant issues.The first is that the exhaust hose is only 1.5m long which makes it unusable in most modern UK homes. Another £30 to £40 will need to be spent to by a (15cm/5.9″) hose adaptor and 2m hose extension.The second issue relates to condensate water. The idea with many modern portable Air Conditioning units is that they evaporate condensate and blow it out with the exhaust air, therefore not requiring to be emptied. Unfortunately, even with an empty machine, after a few hours use it filled it’s internal tray). I then realised that the only port that will really empty the machine is basically at floor level. How did the manufacturer envisage this port being emptied? You are going to get a wet floor/carpet. I tried the ‘continuous’ drain port which is higher up and nothing really came out so using that doesn’t seem to help either. Maybe this product was designed for hot/dry countries, not wet old UK.Overall not impressed, I would have preferred a removable tray.

Fabulous machine, wonderful customer care.
I bought this air conditioning machine in February 2023 and only unpacked it as the weather got hot this week (June 15th).It was doing a wonderful job blowing out cool air, (it is a little noisy it does whir as all motors do, but then no air con unit is silent) but the hose connection plate was missing.I contacted Avella and their customer care person Amber quickly sent a new plate free.The machine and the customer care is excellent. I recommend it to anyone looking to buy one.
