Light and compact garden hose
This is a very light and compact hose and very easily down the garden and shrinks back when the water is turned off. Nice brass connectors and but hose gun is light cheap plastic it works well with a good variety of sprays and it doesn’t dribble as so many do.Pros -* Easy to store after use, folds away easily* Easy to attach and hook up and it soon expands when the water is running through it.* Lightweight and doesn’t get tangledCons -* Feels a little too soft, might break if you over in the summer* 50ft is great if you’ve got a big garden or smaller garden it may to small or too big

Finally a hose that works.
I am currently on my fourth hose in a year. I decided to go for this one because of the brass fittings because I’m sick of them always popping off the end. This one screws on so holds the pressure well.I’ve also found that lots of hoses don’t actually have the full length that they state and with a long garden I really need one that expands properly and I’m pleased to say this one does. It’s made from a sturdy material too so doesn’t rip when it’s pulled along the concrete.I don’t think the plastic wall handler will be if much use as it’s a bit.flimsy but it wasn’t purchased for the holder anyway. Hopefully the last I buy for a few years!

Left garden tap unusable
We bought this hose on 27th September 2019. I am writing this review on 1st July 2020 and the hosepipe has split making it unusable. It has been stored in the garage over the winter so has barely survived four months of use. However worse was to come. This hosepipe comes with its own specific tap fitment and variable spray gun. When the hosepipe burst we tried to attach our existing rigid (not expanding) hosepipe (a well known make sold in the UK) however it would not connect to the tap fitment provided with the expanding hose. The supplied connector looks a brass colour, I doubt if it is brass. Trying to remove this fitment from our tap proved to be the stuff of nightmares. WD40, adjustable spanners, tapping the connection to loosen any grime with a light hammer, wrapping a rubber glove around the connector to try and provide additional grip (the outer ridged surface of the tap fitment disappeared with our use of the spanner) all of these variations were tried – none worked. Finally we consulted Google. Blow torching the fitment or sawing through it were two new options to try. We questioned the blow torch method as not knowing what type of metal the supplied fitment was made from we feared it might melt the fitment onto the tap so tried boiling water in stead. Suffice to say it didnât work. Using a metal hacksaw my husband made two cuts on either side of the fitment fully expecting it to drop off – it didnât. Having cut through the majority of the fitment we then had to prise it off our garden tap with flathead screwdrivers. The fitment isnât brass but seems to be some type of composite metal sprayed a gold colour. Our garden tap now needs to be replaced. Sufficient metal deposits from the supplied tap fitment remain adhered to the thread of our outside tap making it impossible to achieve a leak free fit. Perhaps if you removed the tap fitment after each use of the hosepipe you will not have this problem. Needless to say we cannot recommend this expanding hosepipe kit.

Bought Spring, leaked June. What can be done?
This item was purchased September 2019, stayed in its’ box until March 2020. It has been used probably 12-15 times since March and has now started to leak. We bought this as is had good reviews, has brass fittings, not plastic. However, the quality of the hose itself seems, obviously, questionable as the hose is now clearly not useable.I appreciate that this seems beyond its’ ‘return to seller’ date but, honestly Amazon, how can you sell something that should have a longer life than this? What redress is there or is this another example of injustice against the trusting and gullible consumer? Regards, ADSAll is now well. The Seller has issued a Full Credit on the product. A new style of hose, comes with everything you will need. Nozzle is good use.
Been using this for a weeks or so our previous me stopped working due to the nozzle kept falling off and the hose it self has aged. It was time for a new one. This one seemed good as it was a lot longer which would come in helpful when we use the jet was.It was easy to set and the whole look of the set is nicer then the usual green hoses.One down side is the cloth feel so I prefer to leave it indoors which is probably better due to keeping it dry and easier to manage.The nozzle it self is nice to hold and the trigger is pretty and can be managed easily.Overall I recommend this due to the appearance and it has everything one could need for watering the plants and attaching to the jet wash.

So annoyed at thee poor quality and performance of these hoses!!
I was so disappointed today! This is the THIRD lightweight extendable hose Iâve had and I thought Iâd found the perfect one. I followed the instructions to the letter, emptied the hose after use and switched it off at the handle and this afternoon it has burst! I have returned two hoses and Amazon have reimbursed me both times with no argument but unfortunately the return date was the 14th August so too late to send it back. I am now going to contact Amazon and report the poor performance of this hose. All three of them have barely lasted 3 months so something is going wrong!
