3M Protective Coverall 4530

3M Protective Coverall 4530 has a specialist material treatment which offers fabric flame spread resistance to allow the garment to be worn over an Index 2/3 FR garment, enhancing the chemical splash and hazardous dust protection and extending the life cycle through reduced laundering.

Use 3M Protective Coverall 4530 for protection against dirt, splashes and toxic dusts. It meets a variety of standards for chemical protective clothing including EN 1149 Antistatic protection, EN 1073-2 Nuclear particulate resistance, EN ISO 13688, Type 6 Liquid Splash EN 13034 and Type 5 Dust EN ISO 13982-1. You can identify it easily with the white triangle in the blue suit which is made of the same 54gsm SMMS as the rest.

Protection

The 3M protective coverall 4530 material has a specialist treatment which offers flame spread resistance complying with ISO 14116 Index 1 (not components). Allowing the disposable coverall to be used with an FR Index 2/3 garment to offer improved certain chemical splash and hazardous dust performance and extend the life of the reusable garment by minimising the need to launder.

Material

Highly breathable, soft yet robust and strong weighing in at 54gsm. It’s made with SMMS, which is a layer of spunbond on the inner and outer and 2 layers of meltblown material in the middle. The Spunbond acts as the smooth strength and splash protection, while the Meltblown layers provide an intricate multilayered web of microfibres that filter out dry particulates.

Productivity

Soft and breathable, the non-woven material allows for easier release of body heat and moisture, giving extended comfort wear for increased productivity in the workplace. Consider the RET rating for the classification of breathability.

Coverage

Value design with a 3 panel hood working well with other PPE, soft knitted cuffs for secure comfortable arm placement, triangular gusset panel and a 2-way zip, waist and ankles ensure easy removal, better fit and peace of mind.
