Elayna Ling Hands Verbal Pledge To Army West Point

NEW COMMIT: Futures qualifier Elayna Ling of Pleasanton, California, has verbally committed to Army West Point for Fall 2025.

She will join Abby Reich,  Amelia Lester and Elle Burke as a member of the Black Knights’ Class of 2029.






Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to The United States Military Academy at West Point! Go Army”

Ling does her club swimming with Crow Canyon Country Club Sharks and most recently competed at Far Westerns where she placed second in the 400m IM and 400m free. She finaled in the 100 breast and 200 IM at Marin Sectionals to cap off her short course season.

Her best times include:

  • 200 IM – 2:07.38
  • 400 IM – 4:25.13
  • 100 fly – 56.88
  • 100 breast – 1:04.65

A senior at Amador Valley High School, Ling finished sixth in the 100 breast and eighth in the 100 fly at the 2024 CIF North Coast Section Championship before going on to compete at the CIF State Championship.

Under head coach Brandt Nigro, the Black Knights finished second at the 2024 Patriot League Championships.
